Basque car = Spanish drivers? Basque car = Basque drivers!
Carlos Sainz is from Madrid; any Basque rally drivers in recent memory? |

I think the 'single-seater' nose we are seeing is going to be a common feature. It's just a stronger design in general than the low nose as far as I can tell. Epsilon has integrated it much more elegantly than Peugeot in general, from an aesthetic perspective.

A few points: first up, the new version looks much better and i MUCH prefer the pug nose, as i personally don't like the nose like for example Porsche or the old Lola (boxy), and think the arrowish nose makes for a good p1.
second, what engine is it gonna have? It's gonna need to be a monster to beat peugeot or audi. third, the new front wheel arches (mainly the front part of the front wheel arches, where the lights are- does that have a technical term?) look much better shorter and more upright, didnt like the old ones at all. good look eskaudi! However, the slim nose on the dome, especially the shape as it widens toward the cockpit, is perfect |

Noticed that the latest Euskadi doesn't seem to have louvres on the front wheel pontoons. I thought they were a legal requirement.

3.4.6 - Air extractors : c/ They are mandatory above the front wheels without protruding more than 20 mm (louvers) : • Total area of the openings : 25 sq. in. (160 cm2) as a minimum on each side. Though in the high res version of the CAD rendering you can see a parting line where they would go. Though its odd they would test without them if they are mandatory. |

And if you want to do a decent job at Le Mans , you need good drivers , no ex-rally drivers without experiencie . . . . |

I know Epsilon Euskadi needs sponsors and money...hiring Sainz can be the way to achieve that, but not a way to get respect in the endurance comunity. You know, if they want to make two tubs and have fun ok, but if they want to be a professional try to promote their product in order to sell cars to cstumers...they should better sign experienced drivers and young fast upcoming ones. |

I Think that it´s a very good notice. Because in Spain LeMans and endurance aren´t very popular, but now with Marc Gené in Peugeot and the Epsilon project things will run better...
I don´t want to see C.Sainz in this project, I think that we have a very good drivers like A.Garc*a (Team Módena), Félix Porteiro (WTCC) Javi Villa (GP2), Oriol Serviá (Champ Car), Pedro de la Rosa (Mclaren), Jordi Gené (Marc´s Brother), Ángel Burgeño and Miguel Ángel de Castro (LMP2) and many more... Carlos Sainz is almost an ex-driver, in rallye we have Dani Sordo and Dani Solá that they are in a very godd form tha Sainz. But don´t forget that it´s a Spanish project, non a Basque project... Regads!!! |
