That No.57 Cook/Gardiner Cortina looks really unusual, high at the rear. I wonder why, as no other preparer seems to have followed that path?

Yes it’s been ok on the whole. Agreed re Alice - I haven’t heard her commentate before (just as a pundit on Ch4 F1) but hopefully she’ll get more opportunities.

Hmmm.... I seem to have put the mockers on the Alta. Its lost a lot of time in the last couple of laps. What a great race though.
Both Burnett and Bradley doing I:41's in pre-war cars is quite impressive.

Shows in the entry list as entered and driven by M.Birch. The only car shown as entered by JR was the Alta. That of course does not necessarily answer the question

Burnett reports some issues with the rear dampers but they all look very happy. Enjoyable.

Whilst I like seeing the GT1 cars being exercised, I would rather see them raced than demonstrated, and they have no Goodwood history obviously. Surely they could have filled the day with some other proper races? A consolation race for the Gordon Spice “non-qualifiers” for example.

To be fair to Hart (no relation that I am aware) at that point of 20 minute race, I would think that his tyres would have dictated that he needed all of the track available. Having watched him and his son over quite a few years, they are fair drivers whilst being pretty swift.
