The mini was converted to a metro a few years later i still race it i have a duatec in it now

yes it was johns 1st ground effect spaceframe also had offset back arms the more bump u had the more camber went on .

Morris Minor should be James Funnel? 1 litre
yellow Imp poss roger Gill
Minis i cannot recall this would be tail end of 1 litre and 850 cc class

red stilletoi is Pat mannion ( revolution wheels) in ex Cutting stilletto
Blue stileto is Brian Cutting in his 2nd model
Black Mini is Peter Baldwin 1300 BDA
white mini im sure is John Flack he did run 1 litre and 1300 class ( what do you say Bill?

good point Bill i forgot he has Mini Imp set up it must have been his older car with 1300 motor fitted

was it ?? Lawrence that fitted the first Mini Imp combo back in 77 /78 ish? im sure it was a steel shell Mini
forgot the driver of the car i was just out of short pants then

Gnger ha dteh travler with mini Imp later John Meredith had 1 on the hills when Ginger ha dteh Kitten that was his own block casting for that engine and he took the car round thruxton a gnats quicker than Gerry did with Baby Bertha 7 years later!

well done lee i was going to buy this of pete thurston but your dad beat me to it buy a hour are you going to race it ? classic thunder saloons run by the ctcrc would be a good place to start, there's not many older saloons left in the nw sport/saloons mostly 7 type cars it would be nice to see it at cadwell on the 3rd of April

well the old girls loving it here?

i dont really know what to race in like? but its like first ill paint my van or car same an paint up the car the same not sure my dads very very fussy on perfection
hard work at times so i have all that to do but also i have our spraybooth to build first so its sorta there but iam not changing a thing am keeping peters sr71 black bird wings on the side of a mark of respect of him keeping an doing such asplended job on the car hes a great bloke funny to
i cant belive he was going to put it on the road for a laugh hahah
u could film a new getaway in stockholme ahahah ill
be postin on here lots
youll see lots of it an me
hopefully as the reccesion moves away more?

i would suggest that you create your own website for the car and progress and then post here the update link
the Youtube link was a useful intro for starters
Can you keep the grammer to the queens english and spell check ( i know i am about toget some grief from other posters for that comment! but hey im thick skinned enough) im sure you will have a great following
