And there might be more trouble coming for Alzen, as the ADAC has released a competitor-bulletin for the 24hrs, that says that additional scoops (when compared to the road car) on the cars are not allowed. Unfortunately the Alzen turbo has two scoops on the rear fenders.
I wouldn't be overly surprised, if Weissach took a hand in that... |

Yes, for sure, I think the Alzen car is an embarassment right now, but I think chaning rules just pre-24 hours is ridiculous!!!

I'm guessing there will be live timing and stream available? and for people outside europe. From memory last year the stream (either this or le mans) wasn't available for us to watch down here

By the way, I'm not sure we'll see the expected two Lambos at the 24h. The new blue one crashed heavily at Breidscheid or Ex-Mühle on saturday. The picture I saw didn't look that bad, but apparently it was said that basically everything is broken. At least the orange one (driven by Dirk Adorf and the universally loved Hermann Tilke) didn't participate in the VLN race and is therefore still in one piece.

All due to the Alzen's, they busy themselves with interesting projects, funding out of their own pockets I believe. |

According to ring1.de (text in German) Schubert will field a 320d with Jörg Müller and Augusto Farfus at the wheel.
That's quite interesting for several reasons: For one, is this the a WTCC spec 320d that could turn up in WTCC? And, looking at the time it takes to get around the track, will Farfus manage more than three laps without crashing? It's going to be interesting to see him on a narrow track with lots of cars around and an endurance setting. If he manages to adapt and blunt his edge enough to make the distance, he could become one hell of a GT endurance pilot. |

Farfus is like Massa with a roof over his head - not a good idea to put him on the Nordschleife or in any race lasting longer than 1/2 an hour.

Or Brazilian grenade. It's not whether he crashes, it's how many opponents he can wipe out in the ensuing smash. It's just like a Burnout crash party for him. I bet he's relishing a 250 car field |

It helps that Tarquini isn't in the race. Those 2 seem to have a sort of magnetic field between them.

@nasdrive87, the R8 that raced at Dubai was the Creventic CR-8 and that car was developed by a Dutch company. This blue R8 is developed by the German Michael Düchting. The Creventic CR-8 also has the original 4.2 V8 with 430 hp. And the R8 that will be racing at the Nurburgring will have a 4 liter engine producing 530 hp.

If your not at home you can get Real Audio to record it.... I most likely won't be and will need to start it as there is not scheduler like in Media Center/PVR type software, but Real Audio will record any streamed feed with a click of the mouse, no joke and record the entire thing as long as you don't drop your net connection or your PC doesn't go into Standby 3 (basically OFF). This pared with Radio Le Mans' audio feed will be just like when I watched Le Mans from my hostel in Germany via the net and listened to Hindy.... |
