What is the best finish a driver has ever achieved after walling it five minutes before the start?

Haas need to look out the window, Mags on full wets opposite everyone else on inters. But how many laps until everyone comes in for slicks? Ok, -1 lap for Kyvat it seems in the radio it seems.
And now Haas figured it out. And pit lane isn't working than their grid spot |

Demon start from Max.
Less said about Bottas' start the better. |

That was a clean start but a terrible start for Bottas. Lulu 1st, Stroll 2nd, Max is 3rd.

Bottas is getting a penalty for that start surely.

Yeah, think he got enough penalty on track for it. Line up like Vettel a bit back from the front line so you can roll and get away with it.
Bottas in medium and Leclerc on sorts, with Vettel due in |

Not sure how Bottas expected to make that move stick on the wet part of the track.

If it finishes like this with 2 Racing Points in the points and RIC 11th you can be certain Renault will protest both RP cars.

Amazing job by Ferrari asking Leclerc to tool round on dead softs waiting for non-existent rain.

Fully expect a protest anyway, they have to protest every use of the ducts. It doesn't carry week to week if RP use them so I'm expecting another this week and likely at Silverstone as well since decision isn't expected until after that race meeting from what I've read.

That's exactly NOT what the FIA said. You just protest each use of the parts at each event. A protest from last race does not carry over to the group of stewards. The protest isn't too the FIA but rather each event's stewards. So yes, they need to protest again this week. They don't need to but RP would not be excluded this week if the parts were found to be disallowed at Austria.

I haven't thought Grosjean had been as bad as people on the Haas Facebook have been accusing him off being. But today, well he's not looking so good with Mags pulling 8 seconds on him. And everyone else scooting on past him.
And Ferraris both a lap down already. And Norris and Leclerc both like to push don't they? A couple rounds of elbows out cornering the last few laps |
