Even more pointless when u see the drivers coming from F3 Euroseries going straight to GP2 and winning races and championships. What the point to get a WSbR test...

But now GP2 and GP3 are the enemies , so maybe they will want to join forces with WSR

They are very busy with the calendar I think. The Masters at Zandvoort is scheduled on the 6th of June, but also there is a race scheduled for the F3 at EuroSpeedway Lausitz.

Hope EuroSpeedway Lausitzwill be replaced.

Renault supplies GP2, GP3, WSR and FR2.0, so they can't be that much enemies. If they were, Renault would drop some of them.

Mecachrome supplies GP2 and GP3 , Renault Sport Technologies supplies WSR and FR2.0 , they are not the same people.

not really a news they were already involved in F3 Euroseries with Peter Elkmann, Tim Sandtler, Michael Klein and in 2009 they raced under Mucke Motorsports name but they were in charge of Marco Wittmann

It looks like the F3 euro series will not join the Masters of F3 at Zandvoort. Because they are the support race for the DTM and the DTM will race in at the 6th of June.

The Hockenheim finale was replaced by a Magny-Cours (Stand-alone? FR2.0 WEC? FFSA?) one as well.

Norisring - July 2-4
Nürburgring - August 7-8
Zandvoort - August 21-22
Brands Hatch - September 4-5
Oschersleben - September 18-19

I've never been a big fan of F3 Euroseries. I still like the idea that each country has its own F3 championship, even though French F3 wasn't very strong compared to British and German F3.

At least in the last 2 years they're mixing a little bit more the tracks, considering the series has "Euro" in its name, the calendar sometimes in the past looked like German F3.

I assume Mortata does not have the budget to continue in GP2? I feel he's already proved himself at F3 level. Surely he will be starting as the title favourite given his experience.

Story about Mortara has been already reported, he signed a 2 years contract with ARDEN for GP2, but Mortara wanted to split at the end of first season (2009). He had no other choice than to find a drive in an other racing serie than GP2.

And VW wanted him as well

The 2010 F3 Euroseries opening round will be Paul Ricard on April 9-11, supporting the Le Mans Series' 8 Hours of Le Castellet.
