To get things going, here's one:
Interviewer: "Did tyres play an important part today?" driver: "Oh, absolutely. You see, they keep the wheels from touching the ground . . . " Name the driver, and Brits must also name the interviewer. |

Spot on.
I think that means it's your turn to ask a question. |

OK then. Everybody knows of the six wheel Tyrrell with 2 pairs of wheels at the front but which F1 manufacturer built one with 2 pairs of wheels at the back?

March & Williams.
There was a joke picture of a Ferrari with 2 sets of wheels on a single axle, much like the Auto Union in the 30's (and the odd Indy Car). |

I should have been more exact - I wasn't thinking of wheels on the same axle!
Alan Raine has it so, over to him |

A nice follow on to the 'Ehrlich' theme. Here's a set of questions of increasing difficulty for you.
o Who was the 'Ehrlich' - full name please. [easy]. o What was Ehrlich's area of specialization - need to be pretty specific please. [still relatively easy]. o When Ehrlich left car racing, what two motor racing disciplines did he/she turn to. [little trickier]. o What was the name of the British manufacturer Ehrlich partnered with in the early 1980s. [pretty tricky]. o Ehrlich had an individual who went on to race touring cars later in his career driving for him in the early 1980s - what was his name and who was his primary sponsor at the time. [very tricky]. Go for it ! |

Davyboy,
Wouldn't it be better to wait until the previous question is resolved before posting another? Otherwise it becomes extremely difficult to follow. General question: Is the idea that the person who answers the question posts the next one? Or am I thinking of other similar threads elsewhere? |

Good call on the Neve Lotus 73 (Monza 75). I should have clearly stated Erlich's own designs. Erlich had some good drivers in his cars! |

OK I'll carry it on.
2 drivers hold the record of the longest gap between entering a GP. Who are they and how many years was it between entries. |

Off the top of my head, Jan Lammers must be one of them. I'll need to dig the net for the other.
