Matters arising from Abu Dhabi:

Stewards reconvened and completed a matter carried over from Abu Dhabi in respect of an alleged breach of the Red Flag requirements by Garth Tander Car #2 in that he failed to slow during a Practice session when the Red Flag was displayed.
Following an investigation and an admission by Garth Tander Stewards imposed a penalty of a Fine of $5000 plus a suspended penalty of 25 Championship Points suspended on condition he commit no breach of Red or Yellow Flag requirements until 31/12/10.

Matters arising from Practice 1:

As a consequence of shortcutting corners, especially Turn 2 a Warning was given to:
 Car #51 Greg Murphy.
 Car #19 Jonathon Webb.
 Car #12 Dean Fiore.
 Car #16 Tony Ricciardello.
 Car #47 Tim Slade.
 Car #4 Alex Davison.
 Car #3 Tony DAlberto.

life is getting more difficult for the anti-Courtney brigade. Another great drive and I suspect if you look at the last 15 or so races it is a pretty impressive record.

I think I read here some genii suggesting DJR had no hope with their current drivers - I suppose they were half right!

One podium does not a Championship make. Must admit I was supprised to see Crashney up there. On the other hand, delighted to see Frosty turn a 2nd row start into SFA- normally he does that with PP. And the wheels
almost fall off Ross & Jimmy's little blue wagon.

And a T888 driver get a penalty for turning someone arround. Can it be the same blind official who was at Townsville?

Apart from bloody holden and tander winning it was a pretty good race,one point,while i was at the track,i was texting my brother who had to work todaywatching the thing on tv,the race wasnt even live,when i text him that Courtney took 2nd from whincup,channel 7 were a few laps behind.so much saying that the race is live whwn they are in fact a few minutes behind what is actually happening at the track.
