Go on Pat, get past that slow ass Ferrari, no substitute for rear engined traction in these conditions.

Why so many questions? let it cycle out for a second. The T&S is correct and shows Long on Pole thus far.
Am I not shocked by the Falken's pace, why should you be? For most tire companies trying to match Michelin in dry weather pace is a non-starter, you have to find an advantage and usually as other tire companies and drivers have said before finding one in a rarely used tire sometimes helps. So in wet conditions or semi-wet conditions, smaller tire companies can find an advantage. |

I have not been to Lime Rock in several years and hardly recognize the uphill to downhill section. It looks much slower.
The race could be very different from qually. You really cannot count out the Ferrari and Vettes. |

Oh, another great mastepiece by Porsche...
Rear engine is unbeatable (not only in this bad weather conditions). It's over 50 years 911 makes the rules... It may be hard to digest, but's only the truth... |

good job by the lmp guys sliding the cars around there. Nice lap by the Intersport LMPC car, less than a second behind Bouchut.

Even Porsche's Weissach engineers have been lobbying to abandon the 911 for the Cayman as a racing platform. |

Mazda claims there's more Mazda being raced, well that hardly means much when you can't name the last time they won anything truly meaningful. Porsche 100, Mazda 1 |

It was absolutely sopping wet there today. I spent most of the day at the West Bend Chicane and the Uphill.
There's a river running through the middle of the uphill, it was quite interesting to watch. Oh, and the entire rear wings of the BMW's are blue or red. Not just the endplates. |

Could be worse, could be in GA where it doesn't seem to want to rain this week or even cloud over. Would be fun to watch Jon Field turn in some flying laps but shred tires in 2-3 laps under the heat at Road Atlanta now, but would fear for the drivers even with the modern ACs running, melted gummy worms into a puddle (thankfully unopened) on a 30 min drive home this afternoon.
