Just got in from work.
Happy enough with the entry list despite the lack of surprises. Lack of Drayson is surprising so I look forward to the DSC story on them. Very happy for Robertson. Shame for no Panoz/Jag for variety. Excited to see how the driver list looks when it fills up. I know they need to let in certain amounts of each class but I wouldn't have minded seeing a couple of cars trimmed off the bottom of the GT-AM list and maybe a couple more LMP1's included. |

Very significantly DSC are stating that there is 'high profile Nissan factory support' for the Signatech team and also the Oreca Team car.
Their quote is that the overall effort takes on 'factory-esque proportions!' Interesting that we now seem to have all three big Japanese manufacturers gradually getting themselves involved in Le Mans and sportscar racing - is this that start of a big all out Japanese battle for glory in the coming years? |

I have to say it's pretty much as I expected.
It will be very interesting to find out what is going on at Dryson, I guess we have to wait for the DSC Story. |

Pity about the lack of a jag, with the e type celebrations it would have been nice to see a new jag.

I seem to remember that Kolles convinced the ACO to allow them to pair Bakkerud and Albers last year after they'd been listed in 2 separate cars, so that Tucker and Rodrigues could drive with Bouchut, their mutual coach.

I think it's more a case of "initial designated drivers for a team cannot drive for another team", and that's what Kolles used to move both designated drivers to the same car. Technically, they weren't moving to other teams.

I don't agree with BMS being excluded at all. I don't really see Luxury being the team to get miffed about though - anyone who'd followed GT Open last year had definitely heard of them after Dayraut came so close to the title in GT3. They did a great job. 2 as-yet-unseen GT2 Lotii with amateur drivers listed in each puts my back up much more.

Not surprised about the missing jaguar and panoz. I mean no disrespect to the two teams and personell involved but either finish the program and get the cars going fast or end it here and stop wasting money. This halfway deal that were seeing is just ridiculous. If they cant do it move on.

Yep, that's what I was getting at. I think they have to remain on the strength of the team's lineup, but the ACO isn't too concerned about which car they end up in. That applies to the Lotus example being discussed above too.

The thing about BMS is that the only ACO-sanctioned race they've been doing constantly has been Le Mans, and due to the collapse of the GT2 championship last year they only did Spa besides LM; no LMS/ILMC entry must have counted strongly against them in the eyes of the ACO.
