Don't get me started on that, same goes for the other lady in that other 4 wheel 'sport', I find it bizarre that in this day and age, those who produce the TV pictures seem to think that is what those watching are tuning in for? Maybe it's not aimed at the purist but the casual fan but then again would said casual watch simply because there is a woman on screen? That seems rather simplistic.

Well done to Chaz by the way, impressive form. His strongest competitors had their problems but it's not something that he could do anything about, you race against what's on track. Let's hope no cynical politics rear their head within the team.
Guintoli's lead is quite sizeable already. Sykes and the likes need to start clawing back and quick! Honda may be in for a hard season, Rea will probably do his usual magic at Assen and take a win or two but they may struggle elsewhere. Checa looked very uncomfortable, like a man battered and bruised who is finding it difficult to move around. Unless I misheard what they said, it sounded like Hodgson and Day on the Eurosport coverage were questioning Badovini's ride (they thought Guigliano should have retained it), ok, he hasn't set the world alight but Badovini if I remember correctly put in some superb rides last year or the season before on a priviteer Kawasaki and then BMW. He deserves his chance I think. On a final note, Camier doesn't have small crashes does he? Seems to be always recovering from something, not good. He needs a clean season to build on. Damian Cudlin is in-line to replace Leon Camier on the Suzuki at Assen if Camier is not fit to race...

Interesting couple of races in the Superbike class, good to see the Brits doing well in Superbikes as well as Moto GP. Interesting to note too that the pole time would have been good enough for 10th place in last years Moto GP race, which was in warmer conditions than the Superbikes ran.

Best ride I have ever seen from Sam Lowes, went from 4th to first in one bend on a dog slow Yamaha, and won a race he should never have won
Get this lad on a Moto2 bike, forget WSBK, he needs to be in GP's, replace Bradley with him! |

Yamaha cant be that slow, 3 poles & 2 wins from 4 races so far this season - agree with ya tho, get him into Moto 2, probably his bro too...
Superbike grid is too thin, need to change the bikes world wide so that the wild cards from each domestic championship can enter & run competitively! |

Did you watch the race gom! He was getting blown away by everything on the straights and was making up all his time in the bends, totally unlike Cal and Chaz when they won on the Yam, the Kwak and even a Honda were batering him on the straights!

Has nobody seen the magnificent SBK-races in Monza? I'd expect a lot of Wows from those fantastic races, and some discussion about the last lap of the last race with Sykes and Guintoli. I'd give Sykes the 1-place penalty, he totally robbed Guintoli of any chance on a better position.

Not suere he robbed anyone, he went off, came on again in about the same place
But he was dropped to 4th anyway after the event. |

At first he was. But later he was regiven his third place. Aprillia can appeal though.
Anyway, although you are correct in that Sykes did not gain any time compared to Melandri and Laverty when he cut the Roggia, he however blocked Guintoli when he re-entered the track. |

Maybe it was the somewhat wider front straight at Monza and bikes being tiny compared to cars but the grid looked somewhat sparse. Not encouraging for the near future.

Don't have pay tv to watch. Only get a 1/2 hour highlights when I catch on sundays, which is not often. I get the impression the quality has gone down a bit over the last few years. I haven't seen a race at Donnington for quite a few years. Nice to know it hasn't been butchered.

Sorry cg but WSB has lost its edge recently.
Have little desire to watch a MotoGP bike racing against road based bikes, Aprilia is soi much faster than everything on the straights it makes hte racing a bit weird. Superport was suerb though, Lowes as at the top of his game right now, just like Redding. And Sykes is being unlucky enough to again be the quickest guy to not win a champiohships, just like last year. Just a little fed up of Aprilia speed cup I am afraid |

Laverty seems to have issues in race 1 round at each round, Guigliano and Fabrizio on their privateer bikes are not exactly at the very sharp end so that leaves a very consistent Guintoli. Ok, chances are if Laverty is running well, Guintoli will be very close by and we'll probably be watching an Aprilia demo but Sykes can definitely stop that and has done several times already. We just need the BMWs to mix it up a bit more and the Panigales too! |

Giugliano and Fabrizio are totoaly out of class to be honest Davide is quick but crashes a hell of a lot and quite often drops off a cliff when the tyres go off.
In comparison with the factory riders who maybe get better elevtronics |

Imola.
Did anyone see Baz's crash in superpole? Scary stuff. Not wishing to sound sensationalist...I wonder if the modern superbike has outgrown Imola.
Apparently, Nori was some 4 secopnds off the pace and did not make superpole. Sad. I don't know whether it was the bike or the rider. |
