#66 gets going again after the incident, it was Billy Johnson who went off at Indianapolis.
Shows how tough the Ford is, and also how good the barriers are, it wasn't a big hit but not small either. |

Commentators on RLM are confused. The P2 did not crash at Indy, that went off at the Porsche curves. The Toyota was a completely different accident.

not promising at all for audi having problems with both cars during practice already. times look really close indeed, but surely none of them showed their true hand yet. i hope audi get the chance to show their hand, with the lacking reliability, they seem to prefer to stay in the pits. unfortunately, you can't win the race there.

Thanks very much for ending the session early, Ines.
Oh well, in two hours time we'll see the best times of the weekend as ES expect tomorrow to be fully wet. |

Times are indeed looking close. Sarrazin's lap was compromised, and then Nakajima's flying lap had a GTE through the Ford chicanes. No one really had an absolute clear lap. Plus rain forecast for the next couple days we really could see fast times tonight.

Eurosport showed the replay and Sarrazin just lost it. Looks like he got two tires on the gravel and spun to the left. Ricocheted back to the right. Was a pretty big hit.

Lol. Teams told not to block the garage views. So Toyota just close the door.

I hope that the GTE gaps close up a little.
You can follow the GT3 Le Mans Cup session here http://www.gt3lemanscup.com/fr/live No stream for practice but qualifying tomorrow will be streamed. |

So apparently Audi #8 has a front drivetrain issue after hitting the kerb in the first Mulsanne chicane

Looks like it's a big job for the mechanics on the #8 Audi.
