Harvey said it himself, it’s not for TOCA to slow down the BMWs, it’s for the other teams to catch up. Subaru, Toyota, Honda all seem to have lost pace since 2018. Subaru has an unspecified straight line speed issue, Toyota is a new car and it looks a bit all over the place, Honda FK8 doesn’t seem as fast as the FK2 and dynamics are frequently beaten by their sister team.
If there was a pace review of the RWD cars I would say make them lower the rear wing by 1-2 inches. Not sure if anyone recalls but Rob Austin Racing and WSR battled to raise and push back the rear wing in around 2013, citing a lack of rear downforce (RWD cars always want more rear DF). |

the old Civics of AMD outperform many of the newer cars so it's indeed like the field have gone backwards

Recovery team really making a meal of Goff’s car. It’s obvious it needs to be lifted. Why are they trying to drag / tow it?

Well the new BMW's seem to be rather better than everyone else so lets see if they get some sort of adjustment soon to keep the racing more level.

It's a very hard track to overtake unless you've got a big advantage. |

Think it's pretty much in the bag for Turkington's 4th title this year. --- Hill on R3 pole from Neal & Cook. BMWs will start 11th \ 12th. Last edited by Evantra; 30 Jun 2019 at 14:45. |

I caught the end of the replay of Smith’s MG incident, what caused it?

Nevertheless, we haven't seen such a dominance for quite some time in the BTCC. The last time was probably 2014, a year of... BMW and Turks! |

That's true, however given a difficult first half of the season, it's hard to compare Sutton's half-year dominance to BMW this year as they have been dominating since day one basically.
