Yeah he is a good driver to watch, and I've been supporting him ever since he crashed spectacularly at Snetterton in 2003 in front of me...

But seriously, he has come on well since then, and good luck for the future.

He was pretty impressive (and solid) when he stepped into a Renault Last year too.

what I find most impressive about Dan is the fact that whatever he does he can get so many people talking about him, whether good or bad. Just shows PR works really.

Clarke still didnt do anything spectacular in Ford last year - in a third year of attempts! He threw away chances of victory when other drivers were snatching results left right and centre.

He doesn't need to do anything spectacular, his entertainment value & yet level headed ways are what matters. He has a certain quirkiness about him at the right moments.

I would have said that Renault last year was not his best, it seems things are on the up now he is out of those," silly little French cars..."

FFFESTIVAL 2004

While we are talking about Clarke, who is this? He is definitely doing better for himself!

Well said Richard, Although Dan didnt win the FF championship he did well to obtain and hold his sponsors. Driving is not the only aspect of being a good racing driver!

Does anone know how Matt Shaywer compared to Dan in FRenault/F3 testing?
