Looks good to me! Thanks for responding to the idea. I think the two threads will run and run...

We have our first full team, as expected, Kazuki Nakajima signs with DAMS and will drive alongside Lapierre.
On other news, Arden has offered a seat to Borja GarcĂ*a. |

Well, yes, they have Red Bull sponsorship, so that means that they may want Borja in the Red Bull Junior Team.
The information comes fron the mouth of Sergio Hernández, good friend of Borja. |

Arden had Red Bull sponsorship this year because they paid for Michael Ammermuller's seat. Unless Arden persuades Red Bull to let them run another driver for them next year they're unlikely to have that sponsorship in 2007.

Lapierre wasnt Red Bull sponsored, neither was Kovalainen.
Ammermuller/Garcia could happen without anything odd going on. |

...why Red Bull would stop their sponsorship there??? And yes, Arden has their own sponsorship aside Red Bull, like Sonax, Miles Industries and a group of other small sponsors. Last edited by Mekola; 12 Oct 2006 at 01:10. |

They backed Antonio GarcĂ*a during 2001, when the Spaniard drove for them at Red Bull Junior Team at first F3000 venues of that year. |

If so will Arden continue because money may well depend on who they can sign?
If money becomes the primary objective they may not be able to 'afford' really good drivers but end up with average ones... |

Spanish's newspaper Marca confirms Borja GarcĂ*a's rumor, and they also say that Arden are testing him too.

flagworld.auto123.com/GP2 is reporting that Minardi/Piquet have signed young Roldan Rodrigues to partner Negrao next season!
So the team is content to simply compete and didn't think it could challenge for the title again then?? |

Just they're keeping their drivers of this year (Negrao raced for Piquet Sports in GP2, RodrĂ*guez raced for Minardi GP Racing in F3000 Euroseries).

Now that's more like it!
Plenty of interesting names there for us to talk about at this test. |

Wow, that should really sort the men from the boys.
It's good to see the top new incoming drivers competing in the same team, from this we'll probably have a much better idea of how things stand next year. Conway and Senna compared to di Grassi. Frankly, if either of them want a seat at ART, they're going to have to give him a real run for his money. Parente vs Soucek at ART is also going to be an eye-opener. They both have a decent chance of a seat there, so... It's also interesting to see Timo Glock hasn't given up on GP2 yet either. I guess he's keeping his options open for a while. |
