Can we work out who's driving from this? Looks like the number is 70 or 78 and maybe Amigos logos on the side? |

Young Seb Perez carries Amigos sponsorship on his #77 Porsche. If it's a 23 then George Gamble carried this on his Ginetta last year - running 32 on his Porsche this year - both sponsored by Amigos. |

Good luck to him but seems a little too young and inexperienced for the BTCC, and, in a car/chasis that hasn't scored a point all year... |

I think a lot depends on the weather. If Silverstone and Brands are wet or damp then Sutton will dominate. If it's dry then he'll be nowhere and it'll be Turkington. Ingram is the outside bet. He'll get results, but a 40 point gap is a lot. He needs Turks to have a shocker |

and it's possible that Tingram has a shocker and Turks might grab the title at Silverstone already which would madly infuriate uncle Alan
the gap is 43 points and if I remember correctly you can score maximum of 3x21 + 3 +1 = 67 points in a weekend even if this happens Turks could actually still lose the title if he gets penalty strike and so minus points which means he would best start from the pit lane at Brands and just cruise home alone at the back Last edited by porsche962fan; 7 Sep 2018 at 18:52. It's 67 points per weekend.

^ my bad
that makes it even easier for Turks, so he would need to outscore Tingram by 25 points if scorching heat and Tingram has more gremlins, it's possible |

Basically it's Turks championship to lose. If the weather is wet and horrible it throws a helping hand to Sutton. Tingram doesn't factor in my reckoning; because Colin simply has to stay out of trouble and bag some points, and if anyone can drive sensibly it's Colin. Like an Irish Alain Prost!

unfortunately it wasn't the case with poor Jelley , would have loved to see that small team get a podium

Just remember with so many race winners, it’s hard to be consistent in this championship, with the field that competitive. That is why Turkington is on top, despite only one win
