Only a black-and-white flag for #58?
Is that fair? He gets away with it because he is in championship contention? |

Like last year this race must be seen with a nose clip.

#23 leapfrogs #19 in the stops, only for the Lambo to get past before T3.
Edit - #16 stays in front, #1 second. Let's see how well Dries does in his stint. Last edited by J Jay; 18 Sep 2016 at 13:53. |

#16 seems to have worn out its tyres, Dries Vanthoor is closing in fast.
Edit - Attempto Lambo off-o into the tyres-o. FCY. Last edited by J Jay; 18 Sep 2016 at 14:50. |

I hate this kind of bad officiating.
If you want to make sure all cars are artificially bunched up with 45 minutes to go, then do away with the Endurance Cup, and organize some kind of Sprint Cup. Oh, hey wait ... |

Ok, still no idea who needs to do what for the championship but let's have a good last half hour!

IIRC the #8 is realistically out of it because they would need ~10 points more than the HTP AMG. |

Cheers.
Come on SVG then! Is the Sims BMW in with a shout at all? |

The #99 ROWE M6? No, they would need to win and have the #84 much further down, just as Bentley would.
Engelheart is holding up Vanthoor, and Buncombe (who has pulled away from Buhk) is catching the pair rapidly. |

SVG isn't at the Ring, he's at Sandown for V8 Supercars so if the 58 were to be champions he'd miss out leaving Bell and Ledogar to be deserved champions. Be a shame that SVG couldn't share the championship he had a vital hand in. |

I hope the Lambo keeps onto the leade, but it probably won't.
Interestingly, on the provisional champ positions, Bell and Ledogar are shown in 1st, and SVG on 2nd, even if he has the same number of points.] Would that mean SVG will *not* be champion - whatever happens? |

Oh, I knew he wasn't there, but surely SVG would be a joint-champion if #58 doesn't score points?

Well deserved win for the #16. Bortolotti is very good, but neither Ineichen or Engelhart are of Vervisch' level.
Excellent effort of Englehart to keep of Vanthoor like he did. |

We'll find out soon enough, because an excellent win the GRT #16 (cool head from Engelheart in the last few laps) and podiums for #1 WRT & #23 Nissan mean the #59 wins the Endurance Cup. |

Indeed. I feared that Vanthoor would've picked off Engelhart but it didn't go down that way. I hope that there is no participation rule that prevents SVG from sharing the crown as that would be unfair IMHO. Congrats to Kessel and Liam Talbot who are Am champions! |
