Got to watch my first live qualyfying on fox (other events have been on ten)
Its great not to sit in front of computer and watch live timing without vision. However some improvements. I want data. I want live timing on the screen. I dont want to sit their with a secondary device in qualyfying which has the timing on it. They changed the font for the actual timing back to smaller font. email on the way to supercars |

What's more worrying for V8SC is that the F1 Show out rated it |

another great live qualifying session on fox.
The HD is awesome some good interviews from riana afterwards too. been watching the support categories too. good to see them. recent history suggest the telecast wouldnt have started by now on FTA |

I know you like to keep topics on track Pecky so can we keep to the topic: this is called "V8 Supercars back to TEN in 2015!!!!!", not Fox.

You are wasting your time mayhem. "peckstar" is not a real person but an automated V8 Supercar marketing system. It posts promotional material on this forum to self promote it's events and keep threads in line with it's programming parameters. It is similar to those ones you see about making great $$$ all while working from home and should be taken with the same level of scepticism at all times.
Must say though the Foxtel coverage is indeed excellent. Watching such dull lifeless races in HD and ad free has been awesome and a dream come true. Last edited by pug205; 28 Mar 2015 at 06:50. |

now what were the topics of those 6 merges, why it included foxtel. amazing Just discuss the media package instead of me and all will be fine What great coverage on fox, no adds, HD and live all sessions now if we could just get rid of skaife, |

I hooked up for two weeks free on Foxtel just to check it out ,
The racing is just as boring on Foxtel as it will be on One later on , a lot of dribble between races (fill in) which wouldn't be missed by most anyone , Tomorrows race which is about 80 laps may be better with pit stops and all that comes with it , I certainly hope so because the racing really seems to have stagnated , a couple of passing moves in the length of a race isn't IMHO much to crow about. |

Only 1 hour and 20 minutes to go before the highlights on ONE.
I've avoided finding who won and I am looking forward to excellent racing in the one hour highlight format. Hopefully Nathan and the boys have edited together a slick production. |

are you suggesting there is only one side to the foxtel discusion? and that posters cant take the other side, how sad Let me tell you another good thing about foxtel. The discusion regarding a certain incident was great. Normally with FTA they would have to rush of to some other commercial responsibility (like an ad break) and so little time to discuss, instead we got driver interviews. team owners , experts, bargs. It was great. and even better they were able to discuss it without the need to have every second commenter moaning about foxtel or how bad v8s have become. |

What if there are v8 supercars fans on this forum that actually like having foxtel and reckon many of the things it offers (but not mark skaife) are great. Imagine. #mindblown Last edited by peckstar; 28 Mar 2015 at 10:54. |

Why?
No one would argue that the coverage given by Foxtel is anything but the best the series has ever been given so why harp on about it? What exactly is to be gained by going on about it and relaying which sessions you are watching and that it is ad free and in HD? As I say no one questions the quality of the telecast but more the long term effect on the series by having such a great broadcast being viewed now in such low numbers. The Foxtel team can discuss the Courtney/Davison incident till the cows come home if they wish but with a such a reduced audience, that saying about the tree falling in the woods comes to mind.
