Swedish Brick has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Why no drive through for Shneider for unsafe release?

I will just say it again - Bernd Schneider = Game over!

Top effort from Erebus, but some great drives all the way through the list. Tim Slade would not look out of place in Europe, Bairdo is mercurial, and I have to say that Steven Richards in the Lambo was quite good in stints.

Dreadful luck for Lowndes, and I really feel for Scudd.

Awesome results for all the teams that managed to get a car home in some ordinary conditions. You have to feel for the Lotus team though, knocked out of the class lead they had all day by the #63's miscue in the wet

Young Crash Test managed to make his debut on the RLM commentary team for a bit too... well done to him!

And to Erebus.. it was always their race to lose.. and they didnt... well done to the team, drivers and that noisy 3 pointed star carrying seagull

I missed the first part, but later in the day it was implied it was involved in contact with the WRX (which was leading the class at the time). Either that, or the WRX had to take avoiding action, but it was the same corner of the car that would put the WRX where it ended up.

Tyre was down, and had brake issues. In the end finished second to a lotus (lololol)

The R35, or Godzilla as it is known in the press, finished 22nd and 2nd in class

its best lap time was a 2.21 about 5 seconds slower that Mals ex V8 supercar. So naturally, all going well, it finished behind it.

Just home from the Mountain. What a great race!!! Too many SC laps, but that's what we get with such a mix of cars i suppose.

Gutted for Roger Lago and crew. So much prep and in with a big chance...

Big well done to Kingers!!! Standing in for Mr Quinn at very late notice. Lucky you packed you kit mate!!!! Not even entered for the race .... and a podium.

SO many stories. Very entertaining and interesting race. Those SLS are quite a package. They just went around all day like a day out cruising.

458's were spectacular, but front splitters turned out to be fragile and #88 was in the wrong place a few times...

Audis are metronomic. Always there, but need just a bit more something...

Happy to have my Lotus back home in the shed and be a spectator. It IS a mugs game - but thanks to all the mugs, way richer then me, who put on a great show.
Where do i book for next year???

Gutted for Scud and the team. What rotten luck for those guys. And for a second year in a row Peter Kox doesnt get to get in the car come race day Bairdo was awesome, ten seconds a lap faster then anyone at times. Brilliant.

Really enjoyed ten tenths chat for the race, great fun as always

This was the best race I have seen in ages, shame Bairdo could not quite take the win but he is just an awesome driver, I will shake his hand if I see him next weekend at HD.

THAT is the way racing should be I reckon. I might try and fly over next year, better than the V8SC event I reckon!

Seriusly you think racing is awesome when a quarter of the race(by time) is behind a safety car?

Goes to show you will never be able to please everyone

Not quite sure about young... cheers anyways!

That was a heck of an event. Bang for buck, that was the best race meeting I've been to since the 2003 24hr. It had everything... well done to those who made it possible.

I guess you had to be there Pecky to understand.

An amazing day's racing - cant wait for next year. Great buzz around the paddock for the full 3 days of the event.
