Excellent evening - it just gets better every year!

Special thanks to Iain & his crew of caterers, as well as the generosity of the various drivers - loved the Compte's inscription on the winebox!

A big thank you to Iain and all of his helpers for the BBQ, no one went hungry as still food left at the end. 160 bread rolls were used, good to catch up with a few people, nice of Peter to take and post the photo`s. The marshals really appreciate this kind gesture from Iain and the other drivers who provided the food and drink.

Thanks to Iain & all the guys & gals at Delta for a great evening and much appreciated food (& drink!).

Next year we expect you to do something about the weather, though!!! Bill's comment was that rather than a barbecue, we really needed a bonfire!

A big 'Thank You' Iain and all. It was great to catch up with so many people and I'm glad the weather didn't dampen our spirits!
Too many people to acknowledge individually but a thoroughly good evening

You're right, a great shame about the downpour but thankfully there seemed to be enough space under the awnings to keep things going until it eased off. It saved having to push the cars out of the garages ...!

Sadly it put a damper (hoho) on my spans for another aerial photo attempt. There was even less light than last year and the chance of keeping the lens rain free at height was about zero and the electrical bits of the lit are not especially weather resistant ... so I decided I would abandon the idea as being too disruputive to the event.

Once I had seen a few flashes going off (Thanks Peter, and anyone else who took some shots.) it seemed more appropriate to socialise than to get the camera out again. In any case by the end of the day might right arm was telling me that a bottle of beer was as much as it wanted to lift!

Another great evening, nice to see a number of driver pop in (even if some of them were on their way to the BRDC dinner! I'm sure I saw a couple of them come back later for some 'proper' food.)

Thanks to Iain and the crew for the Friday BBQ and, in my case, an entire weekend of catering. Excellent.

Thanks to Iain & his team plus all the drivers who contributed to the BBQ, a great evening once again! Nice to know we're appreciated by someone-the event organisers couldn't even stretch to a whole pork roll for us!
