WTCC is on Eurosport, (massively) delayed highlights are likely to be shown in December some time.

But you can get live timing here: http://www.mstworld.com/timing/livet...s=WTCC-support
The bikes are out for their first practice session now, although I'm finding it quite hard to follow because the list doesn't seem to be in order of fastest times. Rutter looks very quick. |

Disappointing about the lack of coverage, especially as it's such a competitive field.
Any chance of a live stream somewhere? What time does the race start GMT? |

da costa on provisional pole: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104223
it seems a lot more evenly matched with engines this year? |

Hard to judge, Da Costa is about 10kph faster than his direct competitors on the speed trap. Risky setup for the race!
Shame I can't find a stream Especially when the quality of the field is easily better than WTCC... |

This is what's so frustrating, the setup is in place for full live coverage, yet all we ever get is the World Touring Chevrolet Championship with the painfully slow and uninspiring modern touring cars. You'd think in this day and age such an important and classic event would have a dedicated live stream, if not live TV coverage. By the time highlights make it to Motors or Max Power on Sky all the intrigue has gone.

Certainly is.
The organizers must do everything themselves, because the stuff that comes on the website is pretty dreadful and there is no HD etc. I'm not sure they have the infrastructure to stream it themselves, but it must get aired live somewhere that a stream can be made from? |

it's the sort of thing sky should be picking up for their f1 channel to broaden the appeal and add value - though i'm guessing it would probably clash at some point with their race weekend content?

nope. completely opposite time zones.
I would be over the moon if they used 408 as a motorsport channel, blue riband events like this, drag Indycar out from its dungeon on SS4. Instead, we get treated to a replay of GP2 at Bahrain.......... Yeah, wicked. Thanks. |

eeeh, i'm happy with fr3.5 to go with espn. they do at least care enough to give it a full showing, plus enough time for features and interviews and stuff.
on the other hand, sky could i guess show all of the races during the wsr weekend since they're all filmed live anyway. back to macau and it's one of those pretty unique tv events where you don't need to show the entire season of f3, you can just show that one race with a fair amount of driver interviews and the like. i suspect a channel may have come close to broadcasting it in the uk this time, judging by the jungle drums. iirc the race is broadcast on macau's tv channel and a chinese one or two as well? |

Good idea, CCTV5 is the name of the Chinese sports channel. I only checked streaming websites...
Nope, a repeat of the 2006 San Marino GP If you can find the channel name, may be we can find a stream of it. |

The only live broadcasters from Europe are MarcaTV and ESPORT 3 from Spain, apparently. Last year it was also broadcasted on Viasat Motors in Sweden. |

sadly the issue was the budget required to broadcast it in the uk, there were discussions held about producing a programme for it though.

If it doesn't and you get rather an empty looking screen, go to the right-hand column, click on 59th Macau Grand Prix, then on Programme and finally on Schedule. That should give you the full timetable. They are 8 hours ahead of GMT over there, which is why everything happens in the middle of the night. Sadly one bike rider has already been killed. They really are the bravest of the brave. |

Yes. He didn't win in British F3 until the penultimate round at Silverstone, but was then very strong. Very impressive for a rookie to take pole against a field of that quality, but there were three red flags and as usual it was a messy session.
Qualifying report here.http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104260 The British teams are looking good with so many drivers in the top 15. You think qualifying is important and it is, but the first race tomorrow, which sets the grid for the main race, on Sunday is more so. I'm sorry to say there has been another fatality. A local touring car driver. |

sounds like he played it really well. good news! felix da costa is at his best when he's hunting someone down, so we (well, if we COULD watch it) are in for a good qualifying race.
i'm not sure if nasr's incident counts as breaking the "never shunt at macau" rule who in the middle is going to be keen to make up ground? |

Great for Lynn?
Could be interesting to see how Harvey, Sims and maybe even Blomqvist go from midfield? |
