Ecurie Ecosse livery. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...55059317887611
Splendid! Somewhat reminiscent of Jetalliance when they raced the DBR9. |

Last year only Bernhard miss the race,so I think we can expect at least 6 men for this year's event:Lieb for ProSpeed,Bergmeister for Muehlner with his brother Tim,one for Aut Orlando, another one also for Muehlner, maybe one for Haribo |

I'll grant you that Prospeed's second car doesn't have any confirmed drivers yet, but as for the others... keep dreaming mate. :P |

Err...even though those names were on the Manthey car in Spa Test Day it was only Richard Westbrook who tested it and it was not expected to run.
As for ProSpeed, this is was was said at the test day. Jan Heylen - Maxime Soulet - Marc Goossens in one car Paul van Splunteren - Nicolas de Crem - Ludovic Sougnez - Bryce Miller in the other |

First, the entry list was updated nearly 2 weeks(13 days!)ago,so everything could happen Second, can you tell me which year in this century Porsche have no work driver for 24h Spa? Third, forgot 24h LM this year? In test day only 2 Proton arrived with dozen of amateur drivers, but how about the driver line-up of #77 with 3, #80 with 4, #76K both with 1? Last but not least,AFAIK,there're no main race next weekend, what will those factory paid men do? Watching 24h Spa at home seeing Porsche cars without them losing the game? Anyway only the fact tell the truth,so guy, let's wait and see |

Plus, for sure Dumas and Bernhard won't race R8 LMS for Audi,so they can race a R,last year Dumas just race a RSR though he had learnt M3 could be faster and might took the title,so does Joerg Bergmeister(he also said that during an interview in BMS garage).
It's Porsche work driver's duty to race Porsches no matter how slow(like LMS&LM24 GT2 this year) or how unreliable(like Ring24 last year) their cars could be,and at least Muehlner R won last year and they do took most of GT3 title in this biggest GT event around the world. Last year Porsche ask all the factory drivers if they want to race 24h Spa(accroding to Dumas) and only Bernhard refused. This year Timo also join the test day, wasn't he? AND DO REMEMBER,PETROL R IS THE RACING MODEL CLOSEST TO HYBIRD R,HYBRID IS PORSCHE MOTORSPORT'S FUTURE,WHICH IS AGGREED BY MOST OF US,SO THEY SHOULD GET THE 24H EXPERIENCE. Also notice the green/yellow Manthey R did run some laps for data collecting |

What a shame, so many good cars but it seems that so many good sports car drivers arent racing in them, shame the Westbrook entry is Pro Am, although the Autorlando Porsche should be strong. Wonder why Porsche is choosing not to send any factory drivers??
Bit of a shame whats happened to the Spa 24h recently, hope the GT3/GT4 rules add some stability for the future of the race. |

Also, what's the point hiring drivers when they've hardly driven the car. The only reason we got so many Porsche factory drivers last year was because we had GT2 spec cars and most of Porsche's drivers race the GT3 RSR day in day out. If Porsche still ran the UPS Juniors Program, I think it'd make alot of sense running the drivers in the Spa 24hr as it would give them experience racing in a 24hr race and then allowing them to have a less daunting first Le Mans 24hr while doing it in a slower car. On a side note, whats happened to last years Spa 24hr winners BMS Scuderia. Has the team folded or have they just gone a bit quiet. |

No Bartels according to the entry list. Does he just not like 24 hour races or...?
Would think being 3rd in the driver points he wouldn't want to give up quite yet. |
