Craig,,, where did you get this one from?
1993 season 2 Toyota Carina E GTi Will Hoy Formula Kit: FK031 That was my first livery, saw a model for it once at Spa Francorchamp but was broke and never saw one again. One of the few cars I don't have in my smaller collection |

Craig, have you seen the Motorart Volvo 850 estates that keep cropping up on eBay, and if so what's the quality like? I read somewhere that they are actually Minichamps in Volvo boxes but from the pictures I'm not convinced.

I bought all my kits from one of the posters on this forum so I'm not sure where he acquired them from, I'm afraid. I've dropped him a note and asked if he might pop in to this thread and offer his input.

Nigel,
No, the Motorart model is most definately not Minichamps standard. My Rydell estate is actually a Motorart and I'd love to change it for a Minichamps one. The decals are poor, the wheels shocking and I swear it is based on a 4x4 road car, just with a few decals added! All in all I'm not doing a great job of selling the one I have, am I? You must have a good few models, post em up! One thing I've wondered about is the 1999 Vectras. They were apparently never released as Onyx went pop before they had chance to distribute them. Were they ever made, do you know? ie Were they left in a store room somewhere after Onyx shut up shop or did they never make it that far? Last edited by Craig; 22 Jan 2007 at 20:44. |

I have a shameful collection, about 4 years in the making and as many cars.
These are: 1993 TOCA Shootout Red 5. Nigel Mansell Ford Mondeo (Minichamps!) 1994 Ford Mondeo #3 Paul Radisich 1996 Peugeot 406 #5 Tim Harvey 1999 Nissan Primera #23 Laurent Aiello Although it's not BTCC my favourite model is actually a signed 1:18 Priaulx 320i from the 2005 ETCC. |

Not shameful at all, you've not just got as out of control as me It's all my mates fault. If he'd not split with the wife then I'd not have acquired that cabinet and I'd not have decided to fill the bloody thing aaargh! Originally I only wanted one of each car so would have been happy with a dozen or so. Ah well, at least I'm nearing the end of my collection.
Would love the Priaulx car myself! I'm hoping someone will bring out a presentation set of Priaulx cars at some point! Now that'd be cool...! |

craig & andyb.
I bought the Toyota from Grand Prix Models back in the '90's and they were indeed made by Formula Kit. I have found a German site just a couple of days ago that purports to have the kit for sale, I will try and find it again but I think it is mentioned on another forum (Craig, I think you know the one I am talking about) which is well worth a browse. You can also get the 1963 Willment Galaxie that Jack Sears used to win the title in '63. I've seen one, in Jack's house. When they came out about 10 years ago or so they were £99! I have the Alan Mann Gardner Escort XOO 349F and Fitzpatrick Broadspeed EVX 248H.

http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk...p%20decals.htm This lets you print your own decals in whatever design you like, not tried it myself so I don't know how good the colour saturation is but it looks like it should work ok. |

Interesting! I'm afraid it's beyond my skill and patience level but I'd love to hear a few more details from Peter as the project progresses. And perhaps a photo or two when it's complete?

Peter, what scale is the Integra your making ? I'm assuming it'd be 1/18th as 1/43rd would be tricky ?

Good god! You must have a steady hand to handle a 1/43 model.
