The Bottle O car turned out a lot better than I'd imagined.

The other pair look good, too.

Wow the '77 nod looks great, with the Bottle-O car good on them but I dunno that they could ever make that look good!

I don't really like the FPR's bathurst paint look..the XA or XB that Moffat drove in looked much tuffer.

Moffat had similar livery on the XC........FPR's effort doesn't appeal to me........the Bottle O livery looks great.

Looks pretty close to the old Tasman livery. Maybe a retro Richards livery?

Loving all these retro liveries. Not really sure how FPR are related to the 1977 liveries though, other than they are factory backed. If thats all it takes, T8 surely have rights to livery up in anything from holdens past (theres a comment on V8SC.com saying 'what livery will T8 do...oh wait...')

Despite this, still love the look of the FPR cars, aswell as the DJR car.
Wish more teams would get in on this (someone here said retro LP livery for the kellys, that would have been nuts)

The bodykit is available through SVE/HDT (he changes names so often i dont know what he's called atm). Just take your standard VE (ute or sedan, not sure if they have wagon kits or not) and they'll make it look like the VC/H/K (note the wind splitters in the pic).

Dont know about that car specifically though.

.

I think FPR can claim the link through Moff now working for them and advertising there vehicles for them

he has given his blessing for this idea

I dont really see any issue even if there is not a link though, As a fan i just love being reminded of some of the classic bathurst moments through a current vehicle

It doesnt need to be perfect, just as long as there is some thing in common. it helps to make this Bathurst more special for the record crowd

I like the cues to the retro paint jobs, even if they 'aren't the same'. I'd like to see a whole retro round but I understand that this is expensive for teams to do, but hey, extra guaranteed airtime.

Same with Europe and Motors TV. Disappointing. Need to see what Justin can do to help.

Love the retro liveries, curious to see what this Lowndes car looks like.

Yes, a great shame - have really enjoyed watching the great race the last few years. Not happy at all.

That picture was from a link from the net, however I have 2 pictures on my phone from 2 years ago of a VE painted in the Dayglo colours for a car competing in the TARGA WEST Rally.
