He ran in the first two practice sessions for co-drivers.
He's not scheduled to race until Sandown and Bathurst, later in the year. |

Any idea why JV earned -1 point for his 24th placing in Sundays race? And does his running in Townsville (and possibly Ipswich) mean he's ineligible for the GC600?

Where did you see he got any points? I can't find anything showing he got any (Nothing showing on Natsoft or V8SC Points Table)

I was wondering that myself.
Is there some hidden rule that perhaps Mr Morris could elude us to, that prevents Mr Villeneuve from scoring points? |

drive for 888 next year,i wonder what he would say ? HRT,KR,SBR,DJR and GRM have a lot to answer for as far as 888 and FPR turning things into a 2 horse race. Last edited by Reload; 10 Jul 2012 at 08:11. |

from what i learned the only thing you get from looking back is a stiff neck, so i think we cease the arguments about what happened in Townsville and move on to the paperclip.
At least the racing there will be a bit more unpredictable (!) |

And, please, does anybody seriously think that Jamie would not still be winning if was in an FPR, Stones, HRT, DJR, Walkinshaw or Jones car? He is up there with Johnson, Brock, Moffat, Geoghegan, Skaife for mine and may well be the greatest by the time he hangs up the Helmet. |

Yep, because the great Jamie Whincup has never moaned and complained, and I'm sure you all know how great of a loser Roland Dane is.

I think the tyre compound and pit stop regulations make it boring.
They need to somehow gear it so that there's no definitive strategy. Maybe just give the cars 6 soft tyres that they can use at any time over racing and qualifying. 6 tyres - that's it. You can use them whenever you like. The way the races are formatted (with their individual qualifying sessions), there's no incentive to save them up for any particular time. Some teams might use them in quali to get a good grid spot, while others might save them for the race, so as to charge through the pack. |

Moto GP, F1 , DTM, LMS , GT , V8 Supercars, RWC , NASCAR (mostly) are boring at times, but do people still watch it? I think the ones whining and moaning about the sport just can't hack it their not good enough. and according to murph "it's damaging"? lol how about win some races mate, I doubt he'd be saying that if he were on the podium.

Wheel Spinning Rule "Clarified" !
This from the 'further' Supp Regs for Coates Hire 300
WHEELS SPINNING Delete Supplementary Regulation 2.9.1 and replace with the following: During any Pit Stop, from the time the Car leaves the ground until it returns to the ground, it is not permitted to have the clutch engaged to cause the rear wheels to rotate unless prior approval is given by the CTM. In any case where the CTM grants approval the wheels must stop rotating prior to the Car being returned to the ground, and they must not be rotating as the Car returns to the ground. |
