On the other hand, there are a lot of Trana's out there raisen, I was tickled pink to see a Simca Aronde circulating at the Historics at Wakefield. Maybe some variety needs to be added to the Historics to keep them interesting(eg the Stubber Camarao Z28 thrashing the pants off the 'stangs and Falcons at Sandown Historics) Enjoy the yellow beast as a road car Col Last edited by 275GTB-4; 12 Dec 2002 at 12:32. |

I have always said it is better to buy someone elses race car than to build your own. I have a mate with a GTI improved proddy car thaT probably owes him at least $40000 and is still knowhere in the races, when for half the money, or less, he could have bought something decent.
And no, i dont want to buy a torana. |

Did someone say they don't bend panels in Group N several pages back. This was taken by BFC at the Calder Park Victorian Motor Race Championship round awhile back. By the way the driver of the 'stang is not the one in the Ambulance in the background.

Colinbond....far be it from me to meddle in colonial matters which I don't understand, but if you had bought a single seater (preferably a FF1600) 2 years ago you wouldn't have had the 'road car' option and probably would now be a single seater star!

Now to something I have been wondering about...... With the demise of the B24 I think it is time to resurrect the spirit of the original Bathurst races. How do you think a full day or even 24 hour Bathurst for "Production" cars would go?? I would like to think that the chance to show your wares and maybe pick up a class win or placing would be just as desirable today as it was back then. Let's face it, the V8 Supercars are a terrific series but limited in the car makes who can get involved. To have all the current Australian manufacturers or distributors (not to mention dealer teams) out there strutting their staff just might capture the excitement generated by the original I am old enough to remember cheering for all manner of "tiddlers" (go the Mini's) whilst the larger cars strove for outright honours..... bring it on!! (where are you Ross P? ready for another go? ) |

Colin, did you give any thought to a Group A or C car? We'd welcome you with open arms and to date have had minimal panel damage.

When you line up on the grid does your grid position have a number or a wheelchair painted on it?
