A classic?

It's a Ford.

That's a contradiction in terms.

He he he.

I finally had a ride in one (a safety car on a race track no less) and I really do like it. The interior finish is a billion times better than that of the AU, I like the dash layout, and everything seemed to work mechanically soundly.

I like it

Also had a ride in one of those girly celebrity Lasers from Adelaide, and my god, what an annoyingly loud exhaust!

Not liley for even if this tread lasted another 20 years it would still be a stinking Ford

I reckon a car can get away with that sort of styling if it has the performance to match, sadly the Magna doesn't.

David, how long does your Operations Manager have to wait for the Turbo? The local dealer here can't get one to next year some time, he even can't hold onto his plain XR6's - they are going to the city to customers after a car before he can sell locally.

Moff, they placed the order a couple of days ago. The car will be delivered in MARCH!!!!!

I must be impatient, because I'd buy something else and I think a lot of other people will too. Not good for sales or PR.

We have to wait 2 months on the new Falcons at the moment, I knew they were selling well but not that well, Or it could just be the dealer they are purchasing from

They only have a couple of Falcons left here in Bathurst. I know they are waiting for a Turbo Xr6, which has been put back another 4 weeks. Apparently there is a delay with parts for the auto transmission on the turbo cars. So it looks like a long wait. I know of a bloke in Sydney that ordered a turbo 3 weeks ago and has to wait until march for his as well.

There is also a problem at the moment with a recall on BA Falcon's with side air bags. There is a problem with static in the seat base causing the air bags to deploy

Yeah,

Frig the optional side airbags...

A standard XR6 Turbo is as fast to 100 as a current model 911. Who cares if you get the occassional unplanned sideways excursion.

Having been around in close company when are air bag was deployed while working in a car in the work shop I can tell you it ain't nice. The force and noise of it pefurated the mechanics ear drum
