I don´t understand to De Chaunac, to change a international program for national program in rally. Disappointment..... (Very bad his budget for 2003????)

Oreca is not out of Le Mans 2003. They will be there but not fighting for the victory....
De Chaunac didn't change a international program for national program in rally. In 2002, Oreca had run Citroen Saxo S1600 in French Rally Champ.

If Oreca does not run Le Mans, what'll happen to those Dallaras? Put somewhere and just rot? That'll be pretty sad being the only "upgraded" Dallara around....

If they can come back with the 5 Liter Judd motor maybe the difference between qualifying the race perfromance will be smaller...

Last weeks Autosport said that Simpsons Engineering are looking to by one of the cars for the ALMS.

Yes.

I went to LM with MRI in 93 and we arrived at the circuit on the Saturday morning while the warm-up was finishing. Guess what we followed into the circuit - a flatbed with the very mangled Simpson Ferrari on it. It was a great shame for them, a real shoestring effort - ruined because the dork couldn't wait for them to get out of his way. The Toyota was barely scratched. Nor was Irvine's monstrous ego.....

Why strange?

Having said that, I don't think you can believe everything M. Legangneux has written. Much of it is no more than rumour at the moment.

BTW, for the 80' anniversary, ACO is publishing a video tape about the story of the race (with an in-board lap in 1955, 1994 and 1999)... 25 € (sorry, maybe this is an ad ! Please delete it Ayse, if you think it is).
