Fieldgate should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Biggest difference between this & last year's Mosler in British will be the engine.

Last yr Rollcentre (& Balfe) had a dispensation to run a fairly stock C5 engine which produced "an amount of power". This year they will have to run to the FIA "power & restrictor table". Consequently, low-cost racing has disappeared (well done Mr Ratel) and an expensive restrictor engine (or 2) will have to be built (& paid for).

Just read today that a new team DRM Racing will join the British GT championship with Adam Wilcox returning to the UK after competing in the JGTC for 2 and a half years. The team will run a Ferrari 360 in the GT Cup class and are currently looking for a driver to partner Adam. http://www.pistonheads.com/motorspor...7&storyId=7969 British GT's just keeps getting better and better!

If DSC are right we might even see a 550...

"With three Listers now lined up to race in the GT Class – and the likelihood of at least one Saleen and a Ferrari 550 – the category has definitely got the go ahead for 2004."

This weeks Motorsport News newspaper reports today that a new team will enter the British GT championship (new to British GT anyway), in the cup class,Team Jensen will run a Corvette C5, as well as competing once again in the Formula Renault championship, no drivers have been announced as of yet though. British GT keeps getting stronger and stronger!

Is this team owned by that DJ (and former F3000 team boss) Kid Jensen?

This would be the ex Xero Cup car - good news if it happens but the car is still with Xero at the moment.

This weeks club section in [I]Autosport Magazine[/I reports that Damax will run a Ferrari 360 in this years British GT championship. Drivers are Marco Attard and Nick Adams, the team has 75% of the budget required for the full season and will defintly be on the grid for Donnington. The team is looking for sponsors to complete its budget.

Anyone have any idea as to whether this car is a Ferrari 360 GTC? Or is it one of the older Ferrari 360s? Either way its adding strength in depth to this years British GT championship.

If Damax are using the 360 they ran in selected races last year, then I think it's the ex-MSB car originally driven by Kelleners and Franchitti etc in the 2002 ALMS

www.dailysportscar.com reports that Mike Jordan's Eurotech team have changed their name, they will now be known as JW Racing (Jordan Warnock Racing) as David Warnock now becomes part owner of the British team. The team is apparntly running 4 cars in this years British GT championship, all Porsches, while a new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is due for arrival soon for the LMES.

This is intresting, I thought JWR Racing was only entering 3 cars in the British GT series this year, 2 in NGT and 2 in GT Cup, anyone know if one of the cars is a RSR? I think one of the cars is a older RS...

And Patrick Pearce will be in a Lister! No partner announced yet but we should hear one very soon. Thanks again to DSC for bringing us this news.

If I remember rightly, the Jones brothers car that was in use in the British Championship in 2002 was an R that had been updated to RS spec. But was still an R based model. I THINK they used the same car in FIA last season too, whether it has been changed now, I don't know.

The RSR they are running is for LMES only, the other cars are year old or older.
