Just a slight change of topic , I was having a tidy up in the workshop this afternoon and found a brand new front panel for a Mk 1 Fiesta (genuine Ford) with square headlamps.
Before I put it on Ebay does anyone need it or know anyone that does ?

Amazing how bits like body panels hide in corners! When my RS1600 road car was in the local body shop around 8 or 9 years ago for restoration, one of the guys found a brand new Ford door skin for it up in the old parts store!

Should get a penny or two for that front panel, Gordon.

Yeah, I've got a front panel and wing for a Mk3 Escort been sitting in my shed for a few years, I think they need a new home.

Fabulous to see the wily old Syd Fox is still going strong! Great memories of him winning in FF2000 in the 70s in 'The Old Nail'.

Was it Syd who won the first ever Formula Ford race back in the 60s?

I think that was Ray Allen. Syd's winning days go back to Formula Junior and earlier although he did win the BOC FF Championship in 1972, together with that famous FF2000 title in 1978.

In TON (The Old Nail) which IIRC was an old Palliser.
