As much as I liked the concept of them being there and adding some fun with a seriously quick little racing car it's probably the way the event is going to go ...

Enough fiats in class A anyways .

So who else ?

Vita 4 one z4s ?

Another Nissan from the factory ?
I know they have entered just the one car , and they tend to stick to their own program - but with the race building could we see another factory entry despite the lack of local Nissan infrastructure being available .

The Nz Camaro ? Unlikely ?

Absolutely no idea now that Phoenix have come through.
Will the 2nd Quinn "Macca" eventuate ?
Would love to see the Tulloch Camaro enter. If so, it would be great to see Tomas Enge come down and Murphy would make a decent line up.

This probably makes me a 'fanboy' but geez I cant wait for this race, the level of cars for 2015 has taken yet another step up. A G-Drive Lambo would be a nice cherry on top.

Now that Phoenix have confirmed 2 cars, does Winkelhock go to Phoenix or stay with United. You feel that if United are to be competitive, then they need him where as Phoenix would seem to have an endless supply of class drivers on call ?

Audi will probably spread the quick guys amongst all the R8 entries through the Customer program.

Hopefully so and will be interesting to see who the 3rd driver is in the Salmon car ? Still would have liked to have seen Mies in a more competitive car.

Think that just makes you a motorsport fan. "fanboi" is significantly different

Im looking forward to this race also, clearly Im not a fanboi

Good variety of car, somewhat intrigued now on how they will get quality drivers for them all and equally interested in how they will split between the two class A classes (pro and am)

More than enough quality local and International drivers to fill the seats. Not an issue.

Ha Ha Ha Ha........... I nearly fell off my chair.
Yeah, you are. A V8SC fanboi that is.
No need to be intrigued, about where the required amount of quality drivers will come from. If they now can't get them out of the Aus pool of drivers, there's plenty of silver, gold and platinum drivers that will be putting their hands up.

Phoenix do have a massive pool to pull from... I do recall Allan McNish saying earlier this year that he'd look into the Bathurst 12hr in the future. Is there a chance that Audi might want Mr.McNish in one of the Phoenix cars?

I haven't really followed the thread so excuse me if it's already in here, but does it seem like Johan Kristoffersson is driving this year?

Bentley get big a name, Brabham gets exposure for the Project.

Having said that, I'm all for this. More Brabs is never a bad thing.

You can never have too much Brabs . Fantastic to see him in the Bentley with Bowe and Edwards. Awesome news.

Excellent news to have David Brabham involved in the event - who has a storied history with the track in both 1000's and 24 Hour races.

To my understanding Bowe is ranked as an Am driver due to his age - so this car looking very very strong in the Gentlemen class.

Very interested to see who Maranello place in their two Ferrari's now for the event.

Salo one would think is a given but the rest is a mystery.

Definitely great news on Brabham.
You just know that Maranello will get a gun whoever it is.
Will Griffin go there or Corse ?
A guaranteed contending Ferrari along with the Clearwater Mok/Vilander/Bruni combination.

Forgot to add that i never expected to see Bowe in the Bentley. Thought that it would have been the Ferrari or not at all. Extra credence on the gentleman drivers this race with a minimum 3 hours required of them.

Fantastic news on Brabs making an appearance !!

BUT This is all getting interesting for me... Who's going to be in the MM Ferrari...

No CL, no Edwards, no Bowe... No confirmation Salo is returning. Yet Edwards gets a Bentley, Bowe jumps with him to drive it & seemingly the Ferrari atm "to me" is playing second fiddle to the Bentley.

Is there a chance Bentley (M Sport) has had input on this decision... Chucked in some $$, some support in exchange for some MM knowledge (of Bathurst), on the basis they run the Bentley as the #1 car
