As I said in the "Grim Reaping" thread he lived very close to me and he would do anything to help out at local functions, even though the kids at the school fete hadn't a clue who he was

Thats the way it should be GOrdon . . . last thing you want is all the kids in the village knowing what the old geezer at the other end of town gets up to of a weekend.
swimming trunks photographically crafted from Capsicums is one thing, but if the M***rsport bit gets out they'll all want a go. |

Was going to have a laid back weekend trying to catch up with putting photos on a couple of threads (HSCC Cadwell & the 360MRC, Snet) but Kev rang me yesterday to say that all his usual reporters for Cadwell were unable to attend today, could I step into the breach. Sooooo .... I'm about to leave to play reporter at the BRSCC meeting for both Autosport and MSN it would seem. Not my usual type of meeting but the Alfas are normally good fun and the Sport 2000s have a historic grid, and Cad is such a lovely circuit it's not exactly a hardship. Not sure about weather though, and tomorrow will be spent writing a couple of reports. Hey ho!

Delta Humour ...
Iain pops round to mine earlier in the week to collect something for my car, he opens the door to his van to put my bits in it, and shows me the frame of the Elva 300 pictured above, his comment was "At least the bloke doesn't want it for next weekend!!!"http://tentenths.com/forum/images/smilies/rofl1.gif
Frankly I expect it to see the project being discussed in minute detail in the "Winter's Projects" thread when the nights start lengthening again ... Talking of which, Iain is starting starting to attack the 2010/2011 Winter Jobs list on my Elva! I blame the kids ... |

I am very impressed that you remembered I had come James. Also very very impressed that you can roll up home a little worse for where at 10 pm and still get a pass out to go over the pub. BTW I was back home in 30mins.

Just finished! Can't say I'm happy with either report but now knackered, so despatched!
Timing results for BRSCC Cadwell were not done by TSL but by www.mylaps.com No, I've never come across them before either. |
