Sandbagging I say...
Didn't one of the FPR cars not use anti roll bars? Was it Frosty's? |

Anyone who is not wearing blinkers would have noticed that FPR employed an excellent strategy to get Steve Richards back up the order in race one at Homebush by pitting when no one else did, when a safety car came out “too early'” ('expert' commentator Neil Compton words) to get to the end of the race on fuel mileage. But making that (extra) stop meant Richards' last stop would be a short one because not much fuel would need to go in. Not one other team took the opportunity (according to Channel 7). Sure some of their strategies had not come off, but sometimes it's just the luck of the game, not bad strategies. This year FPR has been unlucky that safety car periods have not come along when normally you would expect them to. |

Hey I am a Fan of FPR but their early season statergies, just didn't seem to come off, and as such caused some poor results.

Level 1 infrastructure from 3 years ago. Everything in motor sport is a depreciating asset.

When does SuperCheap's sponsorship of the Bathurst 1000 run out? Could be the end of their marketing cycle in V8 Supercars...

i still wouldn't call a 3rd Kelly car an awesome oppertunity better then atleast the last 2 teams yes but i can't see Bargs winning anything in 2010 but will happily be wrong. the Bro's will always look after themselves and they will always get the go fast bits first.

Due to an extremely severe lack of funds (read as none), I wouldn't bank on JP to pilot the LDR machine so i am reliably informed.
2 or 3 others on the short list including DR, DW or possibly DG. |

Mr Wall (DW?) seems to have the backing to do almost anything however the noise was around a new car for the GT series.. could he run both? Mr Gaunt (DG?) has a strong budget from several Kiwi backers, who dont mind not taking signage space on the car... Of the 3, Mr Reynolds would be strongest, familiar with WP gear, but likely the worst of the crowd (besides Mr Perkins) at bringing finance along.. Mr Marshall is still looking for a seat too... |
