Great to see Glew get his break in a touring car, did so well in Clio's last year, this is what he deserves to be in, and with any luck they'll have done some work to the car to get it back performing how it used to rather than like it did at the end of last season

Ya great to see Phil in touring cars... he's a great driver and a nice guy as well. Very media friendly too.

Fantastic. So Triple Eight is in, thank goodness. Now if only Turkington gets on the grid I'm happy. If Adam and Jones can get something togeather that'd be great, too. Never really expected to see Gio back with the salary that he commands (now that I've said that he'll probably be in the other Vectra...). IF Turkington gets there this'll be another good year - I thought last year would be dreadful, but then Plato, Thommo and Jackson appeared and saved it.

I mean, although its pretty unlikley, i would not rule Gio out just yet, with the WD40 sponsorship coming to the team, and if Gio can get a little bit of a budget and with his connections with 888 he may have a chance of pulling of a plato
cant wait for thruxton, hopefully we have more suprises to come!!! |

skells, you can access the timetables for each BTCC round via the calendar section of the official website.
11.30, 14.40 and 17.15 are the times of the races. |

They should have on one or two support races after the last BTCC rounds in order to ease traffic. It really was a nightmare to get out of the Brands car park back in 2008. |

Thruxton shouldn't be "that" bad as there is quite easy access on to the main road (A303) unlike Brands Hatch which has a T-junction. Rockingham was certainly the worst I've seen.

I suppose this can be closed now then seeing as we are only a few days before the season starts? Thanks for all the discussion that we've had in this topic, I didn't imagine there would be so much when I started it.

Rockingham wasn't that bad, Silverstone was worse from what i saw, from where i was on the marshals campsite, i had to go the long way round the circuit to get out and then it was still about 30/40 minutes before i was on the main road home.

Well we still don't know who's in the second 888 car. And knowing the BTCC, there'll be at least one more announcement before the season opener.
