looking to these pictures, i wonder where they want to put the front headlights...
There is a cusp in the front fenders. And to put them on top of them could not be the best solution to have a god visibility in night conditions. Also, when steering wouldn't the front wheels be exposed to air flow? Interesting to note that front nose is somehow similar to the Perrin one. |

Of course, the render isn't completely like the windtunnel model, but it does give a good indication of where they will put them |

You're not alone in that view! Doesn't need any sponsor decals or colourschemes at all to hide ugly areas. I fear adding anything at all will just uglify it.

Every potential customer P1 chassis is beautiful - but especially a Dome.

Silly question.
What purpose is the handgrip on the roof? http://www.dome.co.jp/news/news/upimg/s103_l.jpg |

Is it a "silly handgrip" for avoiding height regulation of rear rollover structure?

Looks like it's on the doors... some kind of quick-release in the event of accidents allowing to remove the door instead of opening?

The handgrip is probably only on the model, there to push it in and out of the windtunnel easier. I can't imagine it'll be there on the final car.

Perhaps the door was inspired by saucepan design

That was my thought. Probably just on the model to move it. Unless its on the right side of the model too then maybe it acts as a wing or aero device (if legal) but its not on the cfd picture so probably a hand grip.

Has anyone seen a hand-grip like that on any other wind tunnel test models? Given how they have gone to the trouble of taping up the seams, how can you justify having something that large remain on the car during testing? I don't think it is a grip, or if it is, it is not meant to remain on the car during testing.
The more I look at that photo, the more I wonder if it is just something laying on top of the car. For example, if you look you can see that a section of the center fin is missing over the door in that same area and that also includes part of the air scoop (the bodywork behind the scoop just abruptly ends.)
