That's only for Oulton Park though It does suggest there is a gap in the support program for the TOCA bill though doesn't it? I know other series have supported the BTCC at Knockhill (and Croft?) but now Oulton too - has something gone awol? (FFord?)

Aw... should have read that properly What a pity. It would have been fantastic to have over the season.

It does imply something has gone though doesn't it... and Formula Ford would be the most likely candidate.

The rumour of an ex-champ has recently popped up & it's not Gio so with Thommo & Muller in WTCC it only really leaves Menu! Unless Tim Harvey & John Cleland racing the SuperTourers counts

Porsches are missing Oulton Park to do Le Mans I think?

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB races at Le Mans the week after Oulton, so Oulton isn't in the calendar. Formula Ford is back for a full year, even the Clios are going to Knockhill. I've heard full-ish grids for both.

The only Menu I'm expecting is the one in the cafe.

Full grids for FFord. That series appears to be having mini comeback!

Mitsubishi engine isn't it. I remember hearing about that last summer. I hope they get a good partnership going with Proton, as there's a new Gen-2 replacement coming soon to the UK.

I was shocked to read that Proton only sold 15 cars in the UK in 2013. Even MG sold 156..

Well with WSR we pretty much know Collard & Foster will make up 2/3rds of the driver line-up. The only thing in doubt is Turkington. They will announce the drivers when that falls into place, one way or the other.

With regard to Motorbase/Airwaves, Dave Bartrum is scheduled to be interviewed tomorrow afternoon so presumably he'll have something to say about 2014, not listed as an announcement though so don't expect too much detail.

When are we likely to hear more about the BTCC's harsher penalties for driving standards?

I'm looking forward to Team HARD's lineup. Surely Goff in an Insignia and Scott in a Passat are certainties. And everyone has forgotten Gilham wanting to get O'Neil into a seat. Now that would be a surprise.

Is there any more to know about penalties than we already do? 3 strikes now takes you to the back of the grid (big improvement), other than that it's more or less as we were isn't it?

Edit - just had a quick look at the relevant regulation and as well as going to the back of the grid for the next race the driver gets 3 championship points deducted.

I don't know what I'm expecting from HARD/Gilham/BMR/Warren Scott - not even entirely clear to me who owns what at the moment - did Scott buy the whole shebang from Gilham in the end?
