No, just the usual huffing and puffing that occurs when the contract is up for renewal. Bernie is unlikely to be moved and V8SC will take whatever he offers them.

Why doesn't Bernie listen to V8 Supercars requests? Is he not aware how internationally powerful and respected they are? They could crush his measly "formula 1" like a paper cup. Same with those motogp guerillas with their rebellious event scheduling
