BMW drivers will be Dirk Müller, Jörg Müller, Bill Auberlen, Joey Hand (DTM has priority) and Uwe Alzen (Sebring and Road Atlanta). The last driver will be announced later.

Not "news", but the ALMS is really hammering home the new LMP2 entries for this year. Though as one commenter already pointed out, it's hard to go anywhere but up when you only had 1-2 entries last year... |

I hope this class can gain some "momentum" this year that will continue in 2013 as well. It would be cool if more contructors could join.... A tatuus lmp2 would be nice. Anyone know what happened to the riley project?

I thought Pedro Lamy would join BMW in their 2012 ALMS program but now it seems unlikely(even if a driver is missing again in the line-up)
