Can anyone local to Silverstone advise on ground conditions at the moment? Down here things are pretty wet and the forecast for the next couple of weeks isn't great and if Silverstone is similar I imagine the campsite might be quite wet.

Seriously thinking we might need to bring the Landrover but we might have to leave much earlier!

Got mine as well. Camping plot Q21 for me.

I've created a Google Docs spreadsheet if anyone wants to share their plot locations.

I don't seem to have a plot :-( Should it be written on the car pass, where it says 'Plot No'?

Thought so. I'll email IMS monday. There always seems to be space at the bottom of the site anyway so should be ok.

It slopes with the numbers, from memory about 20 to 30. The slope along the lower letters A to P is the steeper section, again from memory, as the letters get higher the slope is shallower.

So to try and confirm 20 is at the top of the slope and 30 is at the bottom... Roughly.

I will upload a photo..... This is looking towards the Main Tent and A1 from M35

Just got back from Dunsfold Park (Top Gear place) marshalling with some very old silver haired bloke (something Green I think was his name!?) to find a big Silverstone envelope!

Higher numbers at the top? If correct then that's a change, as previously the very first rows by the entrance have been a1 b1 c1 etc. w40 the furthest away from the entrance.
