Priaulx to Volvo? Wouldn’t a bad move in my book. Would be great for both parties

We are expecting a competitive season in 2019. I think all the WTCC Drivers Champion join the WTCR family.

How likely is that we see Turkington in WTCR newt year?
He was fantastic in his outings in WTCC, and I would love to see him race there for full season. |

There was a WTCR VW contract on the table, but there was also a BTCC BMW contract in the offing too. Which one did he sign? We'll find out soon.

But if we include 2000-2004 ETCC, then also Fabrizio Giovanardi might not come back. Let's for now take that assumption that both are gonna be missing. So counting only WTCC and WTCR we're gonna have: 11 titles out of 14 5 out of 6 Championship winning drivers If we include ETCC: 13 titles out of 19 5 out of 7 Championship winning drivers Either way it's starting to take shape of a very exciting and most competitive season since... 2010? Or ever? |

very happy to see priaulx back in touring car same as farfus and catsburg. hope other big names will join the series. Giovanardi and Morbido still deserve a chance with a competitive car while I hope and I think that comini won't participate.

Great to see Prilaux back in touring cars. Was wondering if he had left the Ford fold but it appears he'll do both programmes as they don't clash.

I also heard that they could stop the GT program at the end of 2020. But it's not confirmed...
However Priaulx said that he was looking to return in touring cars. He wanted to be back in BTCC again but this WTCR opportunity is something that you cannot refuse. I hope also Turkington will step in! |

True. Ford WEC programme will fold in the end of 2019. Not much left.

Adverts through races during live action, not all races live, some races missing completely.
