He speed-king,I can see a manthey porsche winning this race,but i don't think is going to be the RSR.I think that the Cup S has a better chance of winning. The VLN & Grand Am people are the most extreme when it comes to performance balancing.

- Uwe Alzen is gone from his brother's car #6 (substituted by Fricke)
- Tom Coronel has joined the 31 MSpeed Porsche
- Aston Martin will have 3 cars (7-8-9) as only Bez appears in 2 cars. Oliver Mathai is in the V12 along wiht Bez, Porritt and Meaden.
- Marcel Fässler is now also in the 98 Phoenix Audi with Pirro, Biela and Stuck. He continues in the 99 Phoenix car as well apparently with Basseng, Rockenfeller and Stippler.
- Opel man Volker Strycek has joined Kissling Corvette
- Touring Car driver (and occasionally in Porsche Supercup) Duncan Huisman is in the Scheid BMW M3

I have to say I'm a little disappointed about the Aston effort. What happened to "we want to win overall"? With the new rules a DBRS9 with AMR works drivers could definitely be a contender.

That does not mean he can't run with his team too, drivers are allowed to start on two cars.

It seems his entry has gone missing from the site and the pdf. But not in Alpina yet. They must be late. Alpina only has 2 guys in each car so they're definitely missing someone!

Top notch effort by the ADAC...no live timing and a hour after the end of the session, there are no results available.

Results of P1 (taken from the dreadful TV broadcast):
