I've been using the link from the ALMS' own homepage for "Inside the United States".
I don't have ESPN3, but the feed I've been getting is plenty good for me to follow. |

no its not. its only lighter by not much.
The Corvettes are really out of it this season.they havent looked very good at all.... Darn Andrea Robertson! It's not ladies first on the track. she completely ruined Toni Vilander's lap....and its not like she was even going fast....Same goes for Bryce Miller...Get.out .of.the.way. |

It's still running with the -25kg ballast as the BoP changes we're delayed til' Mid-Ohio, however while it hasn't recently received any restrictor adjustments from IMSA aren't Porkies still running with 0,3mm bigger ones than 458 (0,6 if we believe the ACO charts)?

How much duct tape is holding the Autocon together?

The Autocon Lola looks like its running in a completely different class than the Aston. Look at it pull away on the straights.

I like that, Luhr referring to Mosport as "the little Nordschleife".

Lola did some work on the car during the off-season, but the car is ancient for sure.
Will the Autocon car out-qualify the LMPCs? Jon Field said he would evaluate the performance of the Autocon car to see if it is worth rolling the LMP1 out again, but this isn't optimistic. Good showing by Kane, but it is surprising that Dyson is letting Dyson qualify the #16. Well, maybe not. |

I was expecting Autocon to fall apart in the race (and still am) but I didn't think their one-lap pace was gonna be this pathetic. Even with the added restrictors

I dont understand why people can;t get it into their head....Di you see how fast Andrea Robertson went doen the straight... She pulled vilander by 3-4 car lengths...in a Ford GT.....That shows you that a big restricor doesnt mean anything....The BMW actually turns and stops well...And its on DUNLOPS.give credit where it's due. |

Given the drivers involved, I think Jon Field could whip the #37 LMP1 around in the 1:09s, even with the current restrictions. I'm just not sure how many laps he'd be able to keep it on pace for.
Maybe they'd do better to pull the turbos off that V8 and get a bigger restrictor. |

why do all intersport cars break down?.....are they banging rev limiters or botching the downshifts...they have too many mechanical issues that no one else has.

Jon Field has two speeds, "damn fast" and "oh my God, he's off the track". And that doesn't do any favors to the car's durability.

1998 FIA GT all over again, might as well split the GT class.
GTA: BMW GTB Pro: Rest of the field, Pro GTB Am: Rest of the field, Am GTC: Jaguar. Hope people are enjoying the BMW parade. |

agree about the BMWs dough lets wait and see what happens tomorow, so far Ferrari hansnt had a trouble free race from the begining of the season, and they have shown they can beat BMW regularly in Europe.... BTW here is a post from Risis Facebook page Toni qualified 5th for tomorrow's Mobil 1 Grand Prix of Mosport. It was busy out there and, once his tires had come up to temp, he found traffic on every lap. At least we're not at the back though like at Lime Rock. P.S. I didnt watch the quali, so it could be just driver excuses.. Last edited by arakis; 23 Jul 2011 at 22:36. |

1. BMW was uncopetitive without the restrictor break 2. BMW was given a restrictor break, but still remained uncompetitive. 3. BMW has developed the car to becomeing verry competive last year. 4. BMW has developed the car some more and now apears to be the fastet car. 5. thus there is no need for the restrictor break anymore, and makes the competition tainted becouse they are getting much more help then anyone else. it is simply time for the ACO or IMSA to cut them down to just beeing competitve, and keep cuting them down until they are just within 0.5% of the rest, without any restrictors breakes, and let thier speed be a true measure of their development not a combination of Development and artificial boosts |
