Correct JDI.
Although there is a certain brand of petrol that doesn't get anywhere near my car anymore.

GTF I think you will find that GB and the team would move on if all the heads that should have been picked up were. I think you will find they only wanted to be treated the same as everyone else. Reading between the lines i'm sure we all know there were other heads out there that were from the same manufacturer as Tracers and were passed and not picked up on, The only other one that was done was Adam Brooks and he didn't even get a hearing to state his case or even offer a defence. Guilty without a hearing. Not the correct way of doing things from MSNZ. Perhaps DD was thinking about sinking a few more beveys when they made the Brook decision. Dunno what MSNZ was thinking when they made that decision, then again I don't think many of the teams knew what MSNZ were thinking this year. Let's hope we can all move on from this and have a much more professional year next year.

Well said Jim.
Something about this whole sad episode stinks.
The Brook case was handled VERY strangely.
As for the other heads....How did the others pass inspection when even someone as stupid as me could (But I won't) name at least another 2 or 3 competitors with same spec head as Johnny Mac and Paul Pedersen's .
Surely WHO had them was common knowledge to MSNZ as well.

Welcome Beam, Well put and I hope your right. I hope that MSNZ can sort out the stuff ups they made this year and we can watch some racing next year where we know the results as they happen not days later after truck loads of hearings. I believe you are dead right about GB as I think they are only wanting to be treated the same as all the rest of the teams. They will move on after parity ( OMG theres that word again) reigns in the decision stakes.

Fat Boy, I also can't work out GTF's reasoning behind his statement of GB bringing the sport into disrepute.
He isn't the only one that could be put into that box.
There seem to be many more in front of him with mud on their hands about the way things have been handled.
Without knowing ALL the details, we can only wait for where this sorry string of events will end up.
I'm confident all 'will come out in the wash' sooner or later.
Not holding my breath though.

Kayne was also another one that had mud slung at him for "CHEATING" and I think was well justified in bringing it up again and well done to him for appealing it and getting his points back. Once again an official not doing the right thing and the competitor getting pinged for it. Lets just hope the mud slinging will be over for this year and things can be won and lost on the track next year not in the appeal room.

Tracie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This is becoming an interesting topic

I would be surprised if Brook did not have a hearing - one of Robbos faults is that he is very particular that procedures are followed before giving any penalty to a driver. He also stood up at both Scotts Stewards and Appeal hearings to say that if it was judged that he had made an error then the competitor must not be penalised. Part of the Stewards hearing was to refer him to MSNZ for discipline.

Yes, 911, but benzine was taken off the market when Bazzzzz's slightly excentric babysitter fed it to him in a bottle when he was a lil midget. Nanny Franny might have had a fat bottom as Freddie suggested in the song, but poor ole Bazzzzz has been barely more than skin and bone since!!

Or is benzine not a brand???

Wow. We managed to go a whole 9 days before we got back into libel territory.

Last warning. If you cannot corroborate it and by that I mean prove it - and if you are not prepared to put your real name to it, then it doesn't appear on this board.

The next time I have to remove a post or part of a post from this thread because it is potentially - or actually - libellous - then the subject is being closed down permanently.

I suggest you consider that before you post - and also if you see a post that looks dodgy, use the WARN button.

As usual, responses by PM, not in the thread.

On Saturday nite we all ( those that we there ) saw Kane take the trophy and make the speech. He is now No1 no mater what we say or think. There is no point changing lower order positions with appeals and threats that might or might not happen or work out the way we want... 05/06 is done with 06/07 comming up quickly and before we now it we will all be back at Pukekohe for round 1. Im well over headgate...Robboandkanegate...I think we should all be talkin about the new teams and departing teams, new cars, freshened cars for the comming year...etc...... we might all keep out of trouble that way.... we have been warned....

GTF, could not agree more...Like you said there is a lot to speculate on...and for sure somebody must know what PM is up to....I do know that Mork is definitly not giving up as somebody recently suggested, the advert for his car etc. was simply to see if there was a buyer out there that would part with enough money for the team to build a better mousetrap.
Am hearing MPM's still sitting on the fence...Both team cars are up for sale but apparently they will only sell one, because if they stay with Holden they want to have a car available for winter testing....So what odds on 99 defending his title in Holden or making the big change to Ford???

Dont leave us Mr K.A M we need you in our loop.....I would not be supprised if 99...oops No1 turns up in a ford...AndI do not know anything.just hope he sees the light and leaves the dark side......I would cheer him on then,,,.all apart from one ford that might seem a bit far back to be a real threat....but you wait and see how that ford comes out of the traps this comming season....

[mod]Unnecesssary attack on another moderator or admin removed[/mod]. Tiresome

Seriously the cost of converting an entire team from say Holden to Ford (or back) is very very very expensive. Youre more likely to see a driver swap teams before an entire team up & leaves their established mount. A switch from say Holden to Ford involves the purchase of every single component (with the exception of tyre valve caps) & thats before the hidden cost of starting with a clean sheet re testing data & the downtime of learning etc etc

You are so correct but they have swapped before. MPM used to run the falcon with Stich......that would prove they truley believe there is not parity in the field.......even though they won.........

Next season will count for less than the last one though if all the problems that have been exposed recently aren't sorted.
The whole thing has been a complete shambles.

yep......totally agree the sealing method needs to be sorted very soon as some engines are ready to go together soon and they should be inspected and sealed with some better type of seal........just a joke if you can get the seal broken and re sealed as easy as some were describing in this forum last week...... sort of makes you feel like a dummy for not trying to do it....but better to be a dummy than a cheater.........
