I believe it will be on the old copse runway... or at least on the grass area next to it...

I'm seriously considering a run down after I finish at Oulton Park on saturday. Mad, maybe, but if I can sign on late on saturday, is that any use? Can I come and play?

C9/89, I am sure you would be most welcome whatever time you can arrive (and everyone else), arriving Saturday night would help spell someone whose post maybe short - even doing an hour or two would be very helpful for someone looking at long night stint, keeping in mind that you will need a decent break after this having been on post somewhere else all day and drove down. Mad, but well worth it I assure you.

As the company that sponsors the Orange / Blue Moslers advert says - every little helps.

Thanks for the encouragement! Just want to do my bit! Admittedly I'm gonna be knackered but I just cant miss this again! I know there are quite a few Oulton regulars doing this event so they know me but I dont think they would have guessed I'd do something like this! Really looking forward to it!

Will there be flask filling facilities (tea, coffee) for Saturday night or at least a supply of hot water so we can make our own drinks up?

We are hoping to have the fuel bay open for the whole of thursday so if you want to come over and help run a pump even for a short time you will be most welcome. We will have it set up on the support pit lane behind the med centre.

BTW Al is right the Marshal camp site will be on the Copse Runway as normal. Also the Paddock Diner car park is going to be used as part of the Britsports,Sports 2000 Paddock so you may find it a bit congested at sign on as all the infield parking seems to have somthing parked on it.

I've heard that there will be free coffee for teams and officials/marshals, at least during the night, from a kiosk in the pits. For flasks I think they have an urn in the back room of the pit office so I expect they'll let you fill up if you ask nicely (and refill the urn). I did wonder if we might be able to bring a hot drink round with the pies but it would just take too long.

One post, Luffield I think, even had a folding picnic table - one of those will a seat on each leg.

Britcar are providing a gazebo for each corner again. Perhaps those at the circuit on Thursday could help with these - I suggest you speak to Claire Williams (Secretary of the Meeting).

There will be test sessions on the track from 0900 to 1730 but these will be marshalled by the weekday crews.

I'll be arriving late Thursday afternoon and would appreciate some help getting the Friday lunch bags ready to give out at signing on because I'll have plenty to on Friday morning without having to deliver them as well.

If anybody will have their other half or a guest with them then we would welcome some help on Friday with the lunch bags for the weekend or some extra bods in the assembly area (especially getting the cars in the right order for the four races in the afternoon). This will be on the national straight because the usual assembly area will be full of refuelling equipment.

Well spotted John - thanks for pointing it out. Perhaps those camping could car share or even walk to sigining on, which will be in the bar to avoid congestion in the cafe. I guess they'll all disappear after their races but that won't be until Saturday afternoon.

BRSCC marshals will only need to sign on once for the whole weekend but, if you've done so on Friday, do call in again on your way to breakfast on Saturday to confirm your post allocation/duty and collect your radio and lunch bag etc. Sunday lunch bags will be delivered, courtesy of some snappers who have volunteered to drop them off on their travels.
