I think we're losing Sutton and Turks to WTCR. For selfish reasons I hope both stay in BTCC.

Maybe depends if/how much BMW put into the WSR pot for next season - if BMW pay for Turkingtons seat again I'd expect to see him in the BTCC, if they don't then he'll probably be off somewhere else. As for Sutton - who knows!

Rumours are that Turks has a WTCR deal on the table but is waiting on a decision from BMW as he wants to stay in the BTCC, but that’s his only realistic chance of a paid drive without changing championships.

But you still list PMR as having two of their own TBLs, with both loan TBLs back at TOCA, which I don't believe is correct. I've seen/heard nothing to suggest the they have bought the one from Tordoff/Motorbase.

Just an idea.. Tordoff was clearly frustrated at Motorbase last season, "if" he had owned the licence (and we know that's a big if), couldn't he have taken it to PMR. Solving their loan licence issue and giving him a potentially better car?

I did put a question mark against that TBL. It is only a guess, based on what is in the public domain.

PMR have said that they would be able to return the 2nd TBL at the end of the season, so they were expecting one from somewhere.

From the press release at the time of Price's departure. - Weaver: "That means we knew we had to get hold of a permanent licence to secure our place on the grid. We are also confident of purchasing another TBL before the end of this season."

Gow has now taken back the loaned licence and will have the second returned to him by the end of this season.

power maxed bought one bmr licence mid season and bought bmr’s other one (which was on loan from bmr to motorbase this year) at the end of the season. so their two loan licences have now been returned to toca

of course they would. thats why they bought both those licences, so they now have two licences that they own and can continue to run both their cars.

The truth in that story is what is being questioned by others. I have no confirmation from the public domain regarding it though.

Yes, for their 2-car entry in 2019.

They had 2, sold them with the cars to another team and took 2 loans from Gow to bring vauxhall back into the btcc.
They have now, apparently, returned both loaned TBLs, and are in possession of 2 of their own again.

Let's not forget the rumour that JP has one. Which if true is one heck of a bargaining chip to getting a ride with a good team. If he does have one then I would be inclined to suspect it may be the one BMR loaned to Bartie.

Truth will out at some point...

Do you know where this rumour originated?
PMR having that TBL can be linked to comments from Weaver.
I haven't seen anything outside of a forum suggesting Plato may have one.

Although I'm surprised he hasn't acquired one previously, given that Simpson and Moffat can both effectively guarantee a grid slot with theirs.
