The talk about a secondary class is quite intriguing: How about taking GTD/3 out of the TUSC main series outside the NAEC and run them with the class1 cars?
Voila, here's your Super GT America and the GTD teams save money due to shorter distances AND move from 4th to 2nd fiddle. |

I think pulling GTD out of TUSC (barring NAEC) is not worth it since IMSA is gonna change it to full GT3-spec anyway.
On one hand, integrating Class One cars is a pain to handle since they're slightly faster than DP/LMP2. |

It would appear that Nissan will maybe attempt to have youtube feed - maybe even in HD - for the Motegi round as well. Not sure if that means RLM co-op again, however that last post of Sam might indicate something...
Now that is the sort of PR that I can actually stand behind, Nismo. |

In the one Super Formula race that Lotterer missed, Nakajima gained only 2 points, whereas in the season ending points tally Nakajima beat Lotterer by 11.5 points, more than a race win. |

He also beat him head to head in the last race, in the same car and team. Nakajima is a real talent. I think in his f1 days he was too young and under a lot of pressure to perform. Now hes more experienced you can see his speed. It was like that a little in his first wec outing too.

Good point, sorry, I don't follow SF that closely. Really only notice it because of the GT and LMP stars racing. Since JP Oliveira is very likely for the Nissan seat, it's a very LeMans-looking at the top of the standings.

NISMO's youtube page is the reason I'll be rooting for them next year in the WEC. They've paid for live unrestricted HD feeds to almost every major race their GT3 has been in for the past couple of years. |

Motegi & RLM is go-go!
Probably too early to hope for full season coverage in 2015, but seeing as they are covering this one despite the WEC clash, it's very encouraging for another Suzuka 1000km even if it's on the same date as Nurburgring Last edited by Deleted; 13 Nov 2014 at 15:36. |

What time is the race start on Sunday in GMT? I have never actually watched SGT race live, only delayed incl 1000, could be interesting with RLM+proper streaming even if in very early

Great news from RLM and Nismo! However, will they go to Motegi this time since they don't have resources to bring a proper commentary back in Suzuka 1000km. The only thing they don't have is the live timing and pit report.

They're kinda stuck in Borerain, so likely make it from there or take quick return flight to UK Saturday night and broadcast from Hindhaugh towers

Okay, but would it be nice if the GTA should give them live timing so they won't be stumped like last time, should they return to UK instead of going to Japan.

Agreed. Even without think they'll do better due to having the experience though, and it's only 250km

I like motegi. Its not a sweeping track, but it has good hard braking zones for passing. Pretty high speed as well.

I've made a document on my Excel for the Super GT 2014 title battle. When I expected Rossiter to be champion weeks ago I now expect Yamamoto to be champion.
Note that this document has been completely inspired by this one. |

Pole for Matsuda and Quintarelli from NISMO. MOLA Racing sits 2nd on the grid with Yamamoto and Izawa third. Nakajima and Rossiter sit fourth in the championship.
So if Matsuda and Quintarelli lead the whole race they can become champion. |

#23 had massive amounts of success ballast compared to most of the others around them in couple of last races, so it is not surprising to see them on top now with all of the extra weight removed for the finale.
The pole time is just 0,031 seconds slower than for 2011 IndyCar |

Unfortunately I will not watch the entire race tomorrow due to the times in Europe, which the final round starts at 5:00 in Danish time.

Something came up for the morning, of course, so have to catch the replay on Nissan's channel after all... oh well
Regarding success ballast, I would prefer if it was removed for 1000kms and not for season finale (if not for both), besides championships that is the one they want to win after all |
