This is really hard to follow. John and Jeremey are contradicting each other about what's happening at times, and TV isn't showing it so we can't work it out. The TV director is having a really bad day.

Consipracy time:
Fox's TV direction is this bad deliberately in order to make IMSA look bad so as to de-value NBC's investment. I jest. I think. |

Left rear puncture for 58 Porsche.
Ran over the piece of junk that fell off the 55 Mazda? Or just another Continental thing? -- Mazda 55 had a rear deck change at the last pitstop. |

31 in the pits, but not on schedule? Only 18 laps or so.
Another tire problem? |

The #6 Acura is 132 laps down but it is going back out.
-- Is it safe to put RLM back on or is Johnny still rambling on about how great GM is? |

That was quite the schemozzle. Multiclass racing exemplified.

FCY.
Another flat tire. 38 this time. Why do they throw a FCY for this, and not for the previous ones? I don't get it, unless something else went on that we don't know yet. EDIT: Suspension problem for the 38. Rear right puncture for 85. |

"We simply have no hypercar." What a ridiculous statement. They don't need one. They just don't want to spend €30 million on a racing program.
Is this seriously a safety car for a puncture? Is there even any debris? |

Who knows why we're at FCY. There could be a Mazda over the fence on fire and the TV director would miss the mushroom cloud.

I assumed they were using it as a chance to clear a few corners of debris that's built up? Certainly seems strange to through a FCY if it's just a puncture.
Edit: Couple of pickups out on track so possibly the case. |

Hindhaugh taking a shot at the ACO/being disparaging about the WEC - tick.

The concession stand at Spectator Hill is out of beverages. The race isn't even half over. I'm thirsty.

Also (I think Wolfgang Ulrich said it) converting a road car like those to a race car would be farcically expensive. Remember, these new prototypes will have to be able to pull 3g in the Porsche Curves. They have to be at least as quick through the corners as the current LMP2s. I've come to the conclusion that the ACO used the term hypercars without realising the connotations in English. |

I actually like the visits from the Michelin people. They genuinely are making huge strides forward in what they produce. It's fascinating. If only Bridgestone or Dunlop would get heavily involved. The tyres could become a bit silly. It'd be great.
