Thats fair enough GTR, if FPR arn't performing to Castrols performance clause then they can get out but others seem to be saying it's a colour issue.
What of the FPV Castrol Edge usage though, will Castrol suffer if FPV say ok, we will go to Acme Oil Company?

herald sun (today) also suggests castrol is leaving because of the colour issue. But suggest FPR will expand to a 3 car team with holdsworth in the 3rd seat

Interesting for Mr Skaife, as Mr Holdsworth's manager, to be actively trying to lever a bloke out of a contract to go to another team.... especially since that other team is blue... and a works one at that!

also enews encourages us to think that the 3rd FPR car will be the the rod nash licence with bottle-o sponsorship, apparently Tony D and the franchise will be over at year end and Rod nash racing will keep bottle O

They haven't retained the original design at all! They could swapped the doors to do the same as what this livery does -> it's still silver on one side, and green on the other? So they will swap the sides and keep it like this after Bathurst. Revised Westrac branding on the front, which GTR will have a good explanation for I suppose.

The eagle is too subtle in my opinion, it would be nice to have that in white. Also not too keen on the red/yellow triangle behind the front wheel, that abruptly stops instead of extending down onto the sill panel.

On the whole it's an improvement.

Still it should be white or in some other way more prominent!

A "design" decision by the designer (not a branding decision from corporate/marketing) to make the Falcon less obvious seems strange, when the Falcon is plastered all over FPR merchandise & team apparel...
