Even if reported otherwise, the driver parings of Young Driver AMR are not set yet.

And so we have 6 brands, 12 teams and 24 cars.

Must admit that other than the Altfrid Heger team there are no real surprises.

How recent is the Altfrid Heger development? I recall 'DHL Vitaphone team' were listed on Planet LeMans last week, did Heger buy in?

Seems like Sumo tries to get some Gigawave people onboard, had been told they allready signed Stepney.

That Vitaphone Racing Team DHL was a possibility, as it ran in 2009 and teams can only enter 2 cars under 1 name. The Altfrid Heger team was confirmed today by SRO.

I must confess i am quite surprised at how healthy the entry list is looking so far for the World GT1 Championship, i wasnt expecting much more than 15 cars when the whole idea was announced last year at Silverstone FIA GT.
So far its looking good, a good mix of car's compared to last year, Ford GT, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 GT, MC12's, DBR9's, C6R's and of course the Nissan GTR's. definetely looks to be a tasty grid, now i just hope that all of the car's have good driving line up's in them, some already do. But it would be nice to see every car with top tier, or, at least quick driver's on board.

Nice entrylist, I too wasnt expecting that many entries. Its great to have Phoenix back-does this mean Marcel Fassler is back too, maybe Jean Denis Deletraz and quite probably Mike Heizemans. Tripple H sound like Vitasystems or Vitaphone DHL or whatever they want to call themselves (Vitaphone B team haha). I hope all four Murcielagos race, that would be a sight to see. A shame we do not see anything pertaining to Larbre Competition or LAA for that matter.

If im honest ive always classed LAA as an LMS team, i always found it a bit weird seeing them in FIA GT, but that is probably just me. Phoenix car sport is going to be a good one, Hezemans and Fassler in the same car hopefully, god damn that would be dynamite.
Have any pictures emerged of the 2010 GT1 Aston's, Maser's, Vette's by the way?
It would be interesting to see how those car's differ cosmetically to the fore running models.

I agree about LAA. I believe they only did Spa a few years ago and FIA-GT last year. The pairing of Hezemans and Fassler would be dynamite and most likely score a few top finishes. I wonder where Mr. Wendlinger will pop up? Wendlinger in a Corvette with a good co-driver would probably be the most serious threat to Vitaphone in years.

Wendlinger will most probably show up in one of Otmar Welti's Swiss Racing Nissans. Welti was already the mastermind behind Race Alliance and KplusK, so Wendlinger has a certain history of working with him.

I bet you that less than four Lambos will show up at the season's first race (or maybe even at any race).

If that championship is another Maserati vs Corvette smallish shoot-out, we wont have moved forward at all.

Too bad about the Saleens, but they are no longer produced and the new company may have a new car in it's future..........

I don't think that is a good justification for the car not being in the championship. Saleen S7s were produced from 2000-2004, but the S7 Twin Turbo on the same chassis was produced from 2005-2006. The Maserati MC12 was produced from 2004-2005, with the MC12 Corsa trackday-only car produced in 2006. So why the MC12 but not the Saleen on those grounds?!

Ford GT was only produced in 2005 and 2006 model years, sold late 04 to early 07.
