I'm 99% sure it's Inky Tulloch's Camaro.
He only has it entered in the 101 at years end I think.

The Lowndes/Tulloch Camaro was a bit off the pace of the leaders at Highlands - but the engine note ... glorious! It would have been interesting to see how it would have gone at Bathurst; maybe next year with the Interlloy car.

There is a pic on fb of the Henley RX8s de stickered and painted (wrapped) white. Will be interesting to see their colour scheme for Bathurst.

I remember first seeing inky race back in the supertruck days at oran park.... Bloke could steer a big rig that's for sure...

I cant understand how there aren't any Z4's in the aussie series, they have looks, performance and that sound is just stunning... Hopefully we get a couple of the new BMW M6 GT3's when they launch in 2016...

It would be good to have some Bimmers.

I wish Inky would have inked a signature on an entry form for the 12hr.

To be fair to them - not sure what noise is needed around the Grant, Samadi Merc entry?

They were the first to announce their driver line up, they self fund (so no major sponsors to promote) and completed their tests prior to Christmas.

What further info is needed?

An update to put us insecure fans minds at rest that they will actually be there
Just over 2 weeks to go until the cars are being unloaded and we still have 30 Class A cars and it going way too smoothly.
Just kidding and loving the build up

We are seeing posts about testing, drivers, cars being loaded into containers, preparation etc from majority of teams now. They are one of the teams which we are not seeing anything on. Maybe they are fully organised and don't feel the need to promote or believe any fans are interested.

That was more what I was getting at - They confirmed their drivers in October, tested in December and being based in Sydney they will drive up on the Wednesday.

What is left to promote?

Hmmm ok. So you think the SLS was parked in the trailer in Dec and they will just hook the car up to it on Wednesday.....

Yeah there is a little bit more to it than that.

Maybe I have unrealistic expectations of what I would like to hear from teams before an event like the 12hr or like what I was getting at, some teams may be too busy, not be aware of the interest or simply not care.

ha ha, why would they care about fans. I have it on good authority by a key person in one of the teams(and poster on here) that it is not about the fans

No doubt - and they will likely have another run over the next fortnight.
But without a marketing or pr person, and the key ingredients already confirmed long ago, knocking up a press release to say they are excited for the event probably isnt on the top 5 list of things to do.

Not to mentioned on that if you're not running it for any sort of publicity and just for your own enjoyment, then why bother with any of that?

The challenge is that the teams concerned, as pointed out in the article, are owned by patrons, largely spending their own money.

This series rocks out more racing, which uses the equipment more often and for longer, but it also cranks up costs accordingly.

Maybe teams need to look at full time prep staff, a full time workshop, more spares, maybe a spare car if there is accident damage.

If that is their bent. The costs just skyrocketed...

Presumably the 32 cars apparently signed for the season will be there the whole season, and were consulted on the changes, and are across their impact...
